I recently came back to SWG to discover that PvP has become completely jacked, and my tkm/pistoleer/rogue skills are completely useless. So therefore, I decided to go chef. Ouch, now I won't be able to run a decent business. This merchant nerf is going to affect everyone, as finding items is going to be twice as hard as before.

If this nerf goes in to affect it will completely destroy my business. I love SWG for having a "Business" aspect and a free trade-enterprise... it is very unique and important to this game. I do not think it is broken in any way shape or form to the tune of this nerf that is in the works....
This nerf will ruin my business and I will be forced to close my shop and go kill nunas for fun. I will sadly leave the game....
SWG is currently capatilistic, the Devs stay out of your business and let you trade and give you opportunity of free-enterprise... This nerf is on the border of Socialist/Communist activity, with the Dev limiting you to what you can sell and how much...
SWG will go the way of the hammer and sickle (Russia)... it will fail, the economy will be ruined and all the crafters will suffer...
Pray this doesnt happen....

im gone within max 2 months if this low limit goes to live. Only got SWG while waiting for Dragon empires to get closer to open beta, but then i found it to be fun, and decided to play both. this go through, ill only have to pay for one game instead of two. and it wont be any money in SOE pockets from me.

Account already canceled as of last night.
People, don't wait on the patch to go live, cancel your accounts now!!!
Remember, you can continue to play until the subscription runs out.
Sadly, there was no "because you're effing retards!" option on the 'why are you leaving?' survey.

I got myself a second account to get some extra lots and to be able to use one account as pure crafter and merchant.
If the merchant nerf go through I am canceling 1 account and stay combat to grind jedi and wait for JtL with.
And it seems most of my friends are doing the same, I know that 11 more or less accounts do not mean much to SOE.
But thats just the number of accounts me and my crafter friends are canceling if SOE pushing this through.
I was considering a 3rd account for JtL to build ships on.. that would been $50 extra for SOE +2 JtL licenses ($30 each)
so from me alone SOE just lost $110 since I will now only buy 1 JtL license and keep 1 account.

This is the straw that broke the SWG Fanboy's Camel's back.
3 accounts. They're going to go bye bye if this ridiculous bag of bulls**t hits live.

Yes.
If this goes through, it means the end of my ability to throw Groovefest, a gigantic party/shopstravaganza on Intrepid. I play SWG to play a powerful, Master Promoter. I make money off of sponsorship fees and renting vending space at GF. With this nerf, it will be impossible for someone to stock for the show (people sell out thousands of items over 3 days consistantly). If I can't play the game as I do now, me, and my alt will be saying Goodbye to SWG (sadly).

hell if they add this nerf in I will quit my 5 accounts, I have every crafting class in the game. So if they go through with this i will just quit not worth trying to keep all the vendors stocked. Heck my once a week run on stuff takes many hours to make large quanities of things. But i enjoy crafting this patch will make it a job not a game. I do not need another job . All my crafters are master merchants so i am not poaching merchants, but even with having max vendors with this limit on items I wouldnt be able to keep up. I sell a few hundred crates of brandy and other foods daily. I sell tons of armor on a regular basis, Powerups dont get me started there I sell average like 200 crates of power up daily. Weapons I sell crates of grenades all the time. My smuggler sells tons of clamps and laser knives, My architect sells crates of furiniture and houses regularly. My tailor makes tons of outfits . My DE has over 150 crates of seeker probes, 200 crates of det droids , and 100 crates of arakyds regularly not to mention at least 4 harvesting , 4 musician, 20 medical, 10 combat ,and other stuff.
Now if I had to keep my stock filled on each of the vendors here I couldnt do it and nor will I do it. If sony wants to ruin the economy they are doing a good job of it. 5000 item limit is fine with me . 1000 is pushing but more acceptable. I hope sony thinks before putiting this patch that will cause many of us dedicated crafters who enjoy what we do ,
Think before you do this sony please
