So its a good idea to go up the Management tree of Merchant to get all your 6 vendors and then you'll be getting 6 x 150xp/hr.

I've dropped and mastered Merchant several times and if I don't have anything to sell right away (becomes I'm not master of my crafting profession) I usually place the 6 vendors in an out of the way room in my house and let them get their xp. You can get an extra 50xp every 15 minutes by placing a 1 credit fee on a structure you own and having friends go in every 15 minutes. I wouldn't do this though if you are actually selling items in that house because people don't like to pay to go in and look at vendors. I especially hate it if I've paid the fee and enter to find an empty vendor.

I feel your pain so i'm going to share my pain with you

Re-deed your houses, vendors etc.. so you have 10 free lots purchase 5 small houses that can be built on a planet generics are good.

Set an access fee on all houses

50exp per house 50x5=250experience

150exp per vendor per hours

If you are in a guild simply have the guild run in the houses paying the fee and looking at your vendors im currently

4-4-2-4 with this method and i've been doing it for 3 weeks i can't wait for this profession to get something done to it it's driven me mad

Better yet, make them Naboo style 2 houses that only take 1 lot, so you can have 10 of them.

Set the access to 1 credit for 15 mins, which is the minimum time limit you can put on them. For each person you can get to do house runs for you, its 500 xp per 15 mins, plus your vendor XP.

You know what ... you could do it quicker than three weeks just by leaving vendors up.

At Nov Merchant put the two vendors you have in your house and let them sit there collecting XP (you get XP for time up) and train the Management line first. As you go up Management keep putting the extra vendor you get down also.

By doing this you should have Merchant XP done in no time without troubling your guild/friends to run macros or pay entrance fees.

I wont take credit for this idea but I saw this work very well for someone. With they help of a town he set up a vendor called information booth.

On the Vendor there was nothing really for sale but just a bunch of items that where priced at 9999999 and then listed the names of all the vendors and events the town had to offer where Listed in the Item name and description. Including waypoints for stocked Items. The Merchant in question was a master in 2 days.

I don't recall an option for a gay robot vendor. How do you know he is gay? Was he making passes at you or trying to change your style?

The usage of the word gay to mean bad or undesirable things by gamers is ridiculous. I think I'll start a movement to use the term "gamer" to mean anything bad or stupid. So, let's redo your phrase...

Damn, I hate those gamer robots. That's just gaming the way they work. So, to answer your gamer question, you get xp for each hour that your gaming vendor exists, and xp for each time someone views your gaming vendor each game 10 minutes, and xp for entry fees placed on your gaming structure.

There's an FAQ at the top of this forum that explains how the gaming vendors work. It's not too game, and explains a bit. Now, stop being game with your gaming posts.
