I think visability is just messed up. I logged into my private home, without robes on, tuned one crystal, and was on the bh terminals.

I don't think there is anything you can do to prevent getting on it... mine seems to get listed after about 30 minutes of haveing her logged on. Even if she is not in jedi robes and just chatting.

What were you doing in the session before you logged in to tune the crystal? Some people seem to think there is a visibility decay.

ie, i would be curious to see if you had been doing something like leveling in the geonosian caves the day before this incident?

The stuff in the orginal post doesn't bear true with me at all.

I hunt with another Jedi, grouped with her BH/CH. We run the same missions allnight, together. She checks the terms every 1/2 hour for us.

If we kill NPC's we get on terms.

If we duel each other we get on terms.

I tuned about 30 pearls in front of a ungrouped dancer (alt) and it got me on the terms (costs like 100FC to tune one)

We have murdered 50+ creatures right in front of NPC's and not got on terms.

We have ran from NPC's attacking us (we did not attack back) and we did not get on the terms.

We wear our robes always.

Everynight we stop about 11-12, and spend the rest of the night (until server restart)in a house watching a dancer doing a /stand macro, everytime we got on the terminals we were off the next day due to this method.

We get about 150k an hour, for 4-6 hours a day, almost every day.

Everytime I've gotten on the terminal there was a good reason.

Well hers my lil bit

1) Getting Tanked from a close friend = Up on the terms

2) killing NPC (mokk / jantas / kungas/ Force people on dant) = Up on the Terms

3) Dueling Friends (for a laugh) = Up on the terms

4) join a olo grp and hunt stuff MILES away from anyone = None of my BH friends have told me im on the terms

I average about anywhere between 90-135k a set of buffs :S

The best way to level? There are a few ways:

[a] STOP GRINDING and start playing the game. You've ground out numerous professions already - why continue the mind numbing treadmill?

[b] Hunt with a very large group that includes a couple rezr's [either in the group or on standby], tons of melee tanks, and a few ranged ubers.

1. I wear my Robe everywhere
2. NEVER
3. 400K each night on Dantooine

I have not seen a BH since I went to Endor in the caves. I think entering ANY cave or dungeon and pullign the saber is instant terminals.

Gosh, that sounds like so much fun....

It seems like doing POI and dungeons will get you on.

My examples:

1) Was away for a week, and I was not on the term after my last session. Logged in, went to the Droid Engineer's cave on Lok, cleaned it out (only killed droids there), and wound up on the terms.

2) Had last used my Jedi 2 days earlier and was not on the terms when I logged out. Logged on, went to Dathomir, went directly to the Rancor cave and cleaned it out (killing only Rancors). I wound up on the terms.

Since those experiences I've avoided all POI's and dungeons, only killing wild creatures, and haven't shown up on the terms since.

Well I'll toss in my two bits.

As far as I know i've only been on the terminals one time, that was right after I let a friend (non-jedi) who was gone for a few months watch me take down a lair. Little while later a BH comes by and took me out.

I hunt while grouped (ususally a large group) but hunt solo and do both missions and wild spawns of animals.

Ialways have my saber in hand, usually wear the robe butI do take it off when I'm going to be standing around waiting for a shuttle to try to draw a bit less attention.

I avoid POI's, run from NPCs, and have not dueled/fought with another player since 2 days after patch 9.

And I avg. around 400-500k exp. a day over a couple buff sessions, and as far as I know have not gotten on the terminals in weeks.

Though just for posting this you KNOW i'm going to get on the terminalsas soon as I log on

Ack, don't shoot me just yet

All I wanna know is, once you're on the terminals does inactivity make you come back off them?

One more thing. What system messages can I expect to see? Will I see one when being hunted or when I appear on the terminals?

Nah, you're probably not getting a response cuz most jedi are sick of the visibility question. Visibility is a total crock. Just today my friend got jumped by a bh and 2 others because they had a mission on him. Fine, no complaint there. Our complaint is that he wasn't killing npc's, he was hunting alone in the middle of endor and was only grinding less than an hour when he was jumped. Apparently a bird or something narked on him. As it stands, visibility is a joke and nobody knows didily squat about it.
