That is using thevendor for storage really

I had crates of paintings on my vendor for months. I would pull them down extract singles and put the rest back up. I did this for a while but the crates were always priced to sell..even at a silght discount from buying them in singles. Guess what someone paid me like 200k for one of the crates the other day. Thats fine with me..saved me having to stock those individually.

Doughnuts and Jolt Cola work pretty well. The broom is a good idea.

But it isn't. That is the point. The items were for sale at a reasonable price. In fact they eventually sold. Nothing On my vendor is EVER there at a price above what I feel is reasonable for sale. There are no 99999999 prices on my vendors and never will be. (The only exception to this was backpacks with instructions about various things like sliced weapons back when I was selling weapons)
I do the same thing with resources I don't intend to use right away too. They are up for a fair market price. (They aren't cheap and they aren't the lowest price on the server, but they aren't outrageously priced either)

why would they raise the limit on the # of items we can have then ?.. their needs to be a more manageable interface for this stuff.. plain and simple.. excuses/solutions involving cutting down the amount of items i sell just wont work..
They actually reduced the number of items we can have listed. We went from unlimited to 4000 for master merchant. They did give up 2x the number of vendors though. All in all I think it was a very good comprimise (plus we were able to regain our birthright).

yep i agree the # of vendors was a great change.. i meant the change from a cap per vendor to an overall cap .. i remember That got change at the last instant..
anyhow yesterdays change of the amount of time things can sit in stockroom was a welcome change.. it helped a little.. now i can slowly list things over the period of a week or more so they wont all come off at the same time next time.
I want to move to a new location in our guild hall.. but i'm putting it off in hopes that SOE will pull their finger out and improve the interface .. they seem to love prettying things up so i am hoping they will keep prettying things up.. and slip up and put in some functionality changes accidentally while prettying things up
*sigh* ..i can dream .. i dont think i'll be able to move buildings anytime soon.. i cant afford the week of down time on my busienss.. and cant afford the HOURS and HOURS of toil it will require..

On second thought, a cattle prod may be better . . .

Well, think of this scenario. We get the devs together and give them a choice. Work on fixing all of the broken merchant stuff, and they get all of the doughnuts and Jolt Cola that they want. Otherwise they get the cattle prods.
Doesn't that make everyone feel better, just thinking about that?
hehe

I was confused as to who got what.
Oh, come now Elyssa. Isn't it obvious who is getting what?
