lol.. i think this is my new favorite forum.. you guys have great senses of humor..
i'd just like to be able to talk 1 on 1 with someone who wrote the merchant code.. or worked on the code for merchant.. just to be able to understand why they did stuff this way.. i think it'd go along way to retaining my sanity..

I ran into the same problem when I moved. Just recently I had to repost over 1k in items at my shop when the 30 day timer hit...
And to everyone yelling "storage vendor" or "crateable items"; the vast majority of my items are organic resources and droids. Those that are crateable are. Oh, and my loot vendor is filled with uncratable unique items...
Someone who just moved isn't going to see quick business until word gets out. As much as I'd like to send an advertising email to everyone who needs my services, I haven't got that kind of time.
Lets play nice, shall we?

So basically all you need is some food and a good broom?
Doughnuts and Jolt Cola work pretty well. The broom is a good idea.
On second thought, a cattle prod may be better . . .
This conversation is getting interesting again...
Ever notice how large sharp invasive articles of torture are a themehere? ![]()

I'm not sure talking to GreenMarine would restore your sanity. I've talked to him several times and even sat next to him at dinner once. It didn't do anything for my sanity. He is an amazing guy though.
You watched a dev EAT!!??!! Oh, the horror, the humanity!!!!
And nobody should ever see how coding is accomplished . . .
Sort of like watching how sausages are made . . .

Heh..Mostly he amused us by talking about some of the quirky things he has come across. One of them was an explanation of why there are occasionally female undergarments inside shuttles
