Thread: Vendors are EATING items put up after the last big update! PLEASE READ!!!!

Is there anybody this is *not* happening to, or is it universal? I haven't actually looked at my own vendors closely yet - kind of afraid what I'll find when I log on tonight.
I think it's universal. I checked a few vendors around Naboo, and no one had anything listed with between 16 and 7 days remaining. My one architect friend had some city statues on his vendor a few days ago, and they are gone. Not sure if they sold. But I did notice that on his city structures vendor, none of the items had less than 17 days remaining. I know he put up a lot of the city structures when the patch went live, so I know he should have *some* things that have been there more than 2 weeks (less than 16 days remaining). And he doesn't.

Has word of this beedn sent to the Devs yet? I know they haven't responded, but has anyone actually sent them any of the information gathered in this thread yet?
As far as I know, I have not lost anything yet, but I am a new Artisan and my 2 vendors have only been active for less than a week. I have a couple of small houses and several harvestors and some bone armor on them, as well as a lot of clothes and misc. stuff. This is all pretty minor compared to what most of you are losing, but to a beginning character, the money these items bring in means a lot. I've used up nearly all of my resources crafting these things. I would hate to just lose them.
Thanks for getting this to the devs, Doc!
Bindy,
That's a different bug.. our items are really, really, really, really, really, really, 100% GONE.
GONE.

The only thing keeping these bugs from truly getting me down is the realization there are just as many that work in our favor...
Beneficial exploits are why paid betas are fun.

Um, okay.
Some of us don't use any exploits, beneficial or otherwise.

Apears to be universal. I lost a bunch of stuff. Luckly I have a nearly complete list. It appears to be exactly 14 hours. I had stuff from my first vendor missing, but the newer ones still had their items.
Seems I'll get my reimbursement and then head to master a new profession... I enjoyed being a merchant. Oh, well...
Well it makes sense sort of. Before the last patch items were listed for 7 days. Then they sat in the stockroom for another 7 days and if you didn't pull them or relist them they were deleted. It sounds like whatever routine does the deletion of old inventory is still working like it was before the patch.
Luckily I moved all my vendors around this weekend- went from 4 vendors to 2 and I pulled everything off all my vendors and relisted. So as far as I know I didn't lose anything.
Sorry, this is a different issue. I had my items already on the 30 day. What I wanted to know is I could avoid the 14 day deletion by withrawing and selling again... I'll know tonight. Just wanted to know if anyone tested this...

Withdrawing and reselling starts the old style 7 day auction on an item. Removing to inventory and reselling starts the 30 day (with the 14 day bug) style of selling. Last night I chose to move all my items (that were left) to the stockroom sale 7 day limit, just so that I could avoid the 14 day bug and I'd receive emails/stockroom movement as items came off sale. Perhaps once they fix the 14 day issue, they'll also fix stockroom sales at 7 days...and thus it will no longer matter.
