a whole crap load of my items just poofed off my vendor. i cant be 100% sure but i am fairly confident it was right around the 14 day mark. and these items were placed on the vendor after the big player cities patch.
doc please get word to us on this as soon as u can
You guys will have any information I can get to you as soon as I can type it. Thanks for all your help getting the data on when it is happening that will be a great assistance in getting it fixed faster.
You can and will get reimbursed, just be polite and prepared. Do not be rude with the CSR, do not talk about how terrible the bug is. Just explain what disappeard, that you have read many confirmations of this bug in the forums, and give them the location of your vendor. They will look at the logs, they will see that you had these items listed.
As I said, if you had a holocron on your vendor for 40 million, you are not going to get 40 million back. You will get back what it costs to REPLACE the items, not what it you would have earned had you SOLD the items.
I strongly believe that people who get bad results from CSRs are either A: Rude, B: Ignorant of the facts surrounding their situation, C: Just trolling around cause CSRs are an easy punching bag for your frustrations.

14 days is the key here. Once the 14th day is over, the items delete.
I'm not sure if 14 days is the limit - I just restocked all my items this weekend when they started falling off.
And I just lost all the stuff I posted TODAY.
CSR aren't going to reimburse us. We have no proof what was on our vendors.
I'm not even sure everything I had - it's just EVERYTHING.
YOU DO HAVE PROOF OF WHAT WAS ON YOUR VENDOR!
IT IS STORED IN THE SYSTEM LOGS!
YOU ONLY NEED TO REMEMBER THE ESTIMATED REPLACEMENT VALUE IN CREDITS OR RESOURCES.
/bump Up to 2200 items lost. Still have 8000 items on 12 vendors and no where to store them at all. CONSERVATIVE estimate of lost credits is somewhere around28 million (Don't believe me -- try 500 crates of 50 Stim Bs at 30k creds, 100 crates of Stim Ds for Med Use 40 at 50k creds each, Almost 600 lots of resources split up into 500 units of each valkued anywhere from 2500 to 10k creds, etc....).
No I don't have serials numbers of the lots so Im screwed. But I do keep a spreadsheet of my inventory to better manage it and check my inventory every 2 days, so I know EXACTLY what I have lost. If I can get reimbursed by listing what I've lost, I'll list all 2200 items here, exact quantities, names of resources, type of resources, etc.....

I have no idea of the replacement value of what I lost. Two weeks ago I had ~600 items of clothes on my vendors.. I sold around 350-400.. had 100 left on Saturday.. so I lost 100. I don't keep track of what I put on my vendor, only what sells.
I have absolutely no idea what those 100 items were, and no idea of the value. It could have been hide boots or it could have been master level items (well not 100 master level items because I don't stock that many of those).
I'm not going to even bother trying to get reimbursed for those items because I know it's hopeless.
I will keep my fingers lost that the people who lost millions, or who know what got deleted, are able to get reimbursed with a minimum of hassles.
Of course, a response from a dev would be nice.. but I'm glad to see that AT-ST's and CH's got big posts last night. *sarcasm*

After reading this tread I went back and looked at my vendor. I just happened to look at the total items the ther day which was just over 2000 now I at around 1500. I know I did not sell 500 items so loss is somewhere around 450.
I just hope they get someone sharp on this - after all, a true code test would take 14 days... ![]()
I took vacation over Thanksgiving after re-stocking my vendors following the patch. When I came back, my vendors were empty. I had assumed that I just had good sales. Now I can see that I actually lost millions worth of weaponry. I'm annoyed, but not overly so, because I was trying to close those vendors down anyway, and this bug simply saved me the trouble of having to move all that crap. ![]()
Still, I just loaded over 800 items into my new vendor last night. It would be really nice if we could get this not only acknowledged, but fixed. This is a business-breaking bug. Merchants have ever gotten the shaft, but this is the worst thing yet.

Is there anybody this is *not* happening to, or is it universal? I haven't actually looked at my own vendors closely yet - kind of afraid what I'll find when I log on tonight.
We don't know for sure but it seems very widespread. I have some items I am waiting on to get to the 14 day mark which seems to be a pattern for most. If you have items that might be at risk you might considering pulling them off the vendor entirely and putting them back on. Retiring them to the stock room and reposting them might not prevent it. This is all guess work though. I have no inside knowledge of the nature of this issue yet.
