lol, I did the same thing kinda, got my "Ch'itin armor" vendor up.

I'm wondering something - are duplicate vendor names allowed? I get this all the time, as well- the obscene name thing and I had the conclusion that anything with the profession name in it was disallowed (I guess) and I also noticed that when I had put up my second (cross-merchandised) vendor in an armor store, the name I picked was (accidentally) identical to the first vendor, in another armor store. So I thought this might indicate duplicate names were not allowed - maybe someone else already *has* a "wookiee wear"? Anyway it's a thought.

I have had vendors with identical names in the same store. Placed one in the basement for map purposes.

You know this really chitin me off. I mean, ehanced, what the supplies are they weapons thinking? How come we can't general name our barney vendors what the medical we want? Inc.!!

What's the point of making a vendor on the map if it has to be named "The pointy things you kill peple will I sell them" or "Clothing for those big furry guys running around" or "Expensive tissues put into pants you want to buy"

LOL. What the wokiee!?!?!

The only thing I could figure for "Enhanced" is that it has the word "han" in it.

The filter should be smarter, though. It should recognize whether you're using a forbidden string as a separate word (spaces around it) or as part of a word. Especially with a string as short as "han."

Speaking of punctuation...I couldn't put an ampersand symbol in my vendor's name. As in the & symbol.

My "Architect" is also Obscene...

Guess that falls under no profession names. what ever.

OMG..*sigh* and the person at LA probably has no clue why it is a problem at all...oh well.

I love the way some names come up a while back we had copper on Radiant called Heta**edit** when you sampled it it would say you have sampled 5 units of Heta@#$. There is a guy on Sunrunner named Fish Ou**edit**er he was is our entertainer group he starts dancingFish Ou@#$%er starts dancing. I also saw a girl named Sexy Kitten... @#$y Kitten begins dancing(yet they let her name her self Sexy. so why the grief in vendor names. I have seen folks with Doctor in thier name before as well. It just slays me...lololol

see what I mean that was supposed to be hetaf-a-g and out-w-a-ter but the boards even blocked but yet the names have been used by players as well as the devs in the case of the copper

I thought naming some of my clothing "unis*x" would help males figure out what skirts they could wear but noooooo, it wouldn't let me name it that way, and I didn't have the heart to use the asterisk as above.

However, I can happily name my outfits "pi mp boots" (minus the space).
