Can you give me that ticket number and the CSR's name who was assisting you? I want to put that with the rest of the information about this. Intersting that you would mention the sales affecting it because I got a simular comment which was odd since that hasn't been the case for 4 months.

Fri AM, added maint for 25 days.

Sat AM, remaining maint was for 23 days.

Sun AM, remaining maint was for 21 days.

Mon AM, remaining maint was for 19 days.

Maint does appear to be getting consumed at twice the rate, for all five of my vendors. I'll keep checking for each of the following mornings, but I expect it'll be 17, 15, 13, etc.

If vendors are not visited I dont think memory is taken up doing anything with them. Perhaps maintenance isnt calculated until a visit occurs or maintenance would expire. The logs then would show a large deducton at that point?

Just checked my vendors tonight - even with accelerated fees - all of them should have been good for at least 30 days (at least showing 30 days) lo and behold - one of the few I have that should take FEWER funds is 4k in the hole. **edit**??? Course - it's an old vendor and was still marked as operating normally.

This makes absolutely no sense. All my vendors were roughly equal last time I paid - with that one not being on the map, should have lasted longer - no matter the rate they are multiplying by. All the rest were showing approx 35 days on the counter (although I know it's more like 16). I have no earthly reason why that one out of the six should suddenly up and empty her bank account.

Oh my - I did just have a thought - that odd message I received the other day about restoring items, I wonder if that's yanking funds out of vendor maintanence somehow?? I'm still not sure what that message meant but it's the ONLY thing I can possibly think might account for something like this, and since it's just an onscreen message - no email - that might indeed be an issue if so - and of course if vendors actually ever stop working when they run outta funds.

I've never gotten the restored item messages so I don't think that is it.

What I would like to do but haven't had the time is for someone with a spare vendor slot to put up a vendor and put some credits in it and see if it has the same behaviour with no items for sale. This would debunk the "varied rate" theory that I'm getting from various sources.

I have six vendors active at the moment. One contains only a couple dozen items while another contains around 800. Yet all my vendors are losing maint at a consistent rate. I check every morning, and all of them are advancing at a rate of 2x per day. (In other words, twice the projected rate of 10.)

Point being, I'm not seing any variation, based upon the number of items.

I only have five vendors up right now and all with varying amounts of items on them and values of those items. However, the maintenance is being eaten up at about twice the listed cr/hr rate on all of them. I was away for a week and a half so before I left I threw enough maintenance on all of them for a full month. I came back and there was just under five days maintenance left. Hope this helps fixing the bug.

They finally found an easy mark for a credit sink. Wealthy merchants who don't pay attention to their vendor maintenance.

got that too....didn't think too much about it..... some blip in the system.... however now I appear to either have missed the sales messages about a coupple of stacks of aluminum selling or it plain old dissapeared.... cause I never got a email.... and I sure didn't get the credits for them....

anyone else notice things dissapearing lately from vendors?
