Im sorry but your not seeing this here. im not attacking Doc.....i asked if he is going to relay everyones feelings about his.

I put his name in the title to get it attention, and i will not remove it. He needs to see this, as well as the DEV's (not that they care anyway)

So do not take this as an attack on him, as it is not.....please get back on the topic of the thread now.

I was planning on starting up a loot/novice med vendor in a few days, but this new nerf just blew that idea out of the water. My char is mostly combat oriented, so I've only got enough skill points to pick up Business 3. So that leaves me with two options:

1) A vendor with nothing but loot.
2) Or a horribly understocked med vendor.

I have no problem with the clearing of vendors that have been empty for a bit, anybody on the Valcyn server will tell ya the Bartertown near Coronet needs this very badly, but the vendor caps are just absurd.

You say this like you think he doesn't read what we write, THAT is why I said what I did. Don't assume he doesn't read what we write just because he doesn't post or you can't see what he is saying to the devs. I have yet to see him takea passive stand on an issue the people on this forum feel strongly about. He is always very proactive on our behalves.

As for you Pappi....you need to tell everyone else about temper. There are more people than me pissed off about this, so dont come to where i am and tell my to take it elsewhere.

And post something constructive? What the hell do you think this is? Do you think im tryingto throw a popcorn party here?

Do you want to come ingame and work harder to PLAY A GAME than it is to run yourself in RL? I personally do not. So please do not lecture me of 'posting something constructive'

If it is un-fun for you...simple solution: DON'T DO IT! If you don't like something in the GAME, go do something else.

Well, best to think it with a clear head. Lumping him together in your title DOES make it appear you're aiming those One star ninjas at him.

That is the problem. Most people will just not have a vendor. Good luck finding anything you need...

It's a win-lose situation, it sucks. I don't like it any more than anyone else, I just don't like seeing blame tossed about like water from a sprinkler. I have been playing this game and reading (and occasionally posting on) these forums since launch, and sometimes, some posts are excellent and very thoughtful. Other times, they are made while the person is upset and probbaly should have been re-thought.

Ok this is the most moronic statement i have read so far.

So your telling me, that for someone that has been master merchant, master armorsmith sinvce launch....i should just drop it all right? Drop whati like doing in the game.....Drop what i have been doing since day one.

Im sorry......your statement is a classic copout, and you can take that response somewhere else.

I like what im doing, and i dont feel that i (or anyother crafter/merchant) shold have to just accept this type of change. Thsi is way to extreme. I keep my vendors stocked with over 600 items on over 3 vendors at least, and that is hard to keep up with. (Armor and resources sell well) For them to come and say these changes......is insane.

read every forum thread.......and i challenge you to go say that to other merchant/crafters that have done it as long as i have, and see how much flack you get back for that comment.

This would result in me having to restock my vendor twice a day..

If this goes live, I am dropping all crafting, each vendor needs atleast 1000 items.

everythign else is unaceeptable.

If the devs do not rethink this, we wont have any more merchants anymore.

I'm a Master Weaponsmth and Master Merchant. This is going to kill my business. It simply is not going to be possible to keep all the weapon types in stock in reasonable enough amounts that they don't sell out when a couple people come in and buy 5 of a certain gun in a row - then customers will come to my shop and find it out of a certain item. I have a reputation for being always stocked with each type of weapon. In order to keep that reputation I'll have to restock 2 or 3 times a day with this nerf - what a chore.

Not to mention, I run a vendor for a fellow who is a master armorsmith (but not a merchant). If this nerf goes live I may have to remove that vendor - what a shame. THIS IS BAD.

I NEVER said accept it, never once did I say accept it, I only asked that you place the blame where it shoudl be, and not on those who are trying to help. The reason I said if you don't like it, change profession was in response to your comment that your in game life is becoming more stressful than real life, which is not healthy for anyone.

I, myself, have been a crafter since launch. I was also a mayor of a player city for 8 months, believe me, I know in game stress. I quit politician to get away from the stress, it was making the game a job, not a game. I was not trying to "copout," but just remind you that this IS a game you are playing and if it gets to be too much, perhaps a re-evaluation of priorities and what you want from the game is in order. If you enjoy the stress and lifestyle that your professions bring, by all means, continue it. I have no doubt your customers will appreciate your not leaving the profession.

I just ask that anyone, not just you...ANYONE, who finds themself in a position where the game is a job and no longer a game take a step back, look at what you are putting in versus what you are getting back. Step back up if its acceptable to you, but if it's not, for your own health, find something more enjoyable for you. Far too many times have I seen the stress resulting from some of the situations in this game cause friends to become enemies and words to be said in heated situations that later had to be retracted. Save yourself the trouble, the headache, and the lack of entertainment.
