Okay, so the search button is completely horked, so I'm wondering if one of the more enlightened force weilders can spell it all out for me.
What are the understood rules of visibility? How many people need to see you before you get on a term? How far away do you have to be in order to be safe? How long do you stay on the terms? Is there a "grace period" after getting hunted before you are eligeable for going back up on the terms? etc.

Ok I just got killed for the first time from a BH. I'm not going to complain or make excuses. I'll take it like a man. Anyways, I only have a quick question. Does visibility clear when you get killed from a BH? Also how long does it take for visibility to decay completly (assuming I was max visibility)

It clears when you are killed, however if you group grind again you will be back on the terms within 20 minutes if not less. Visibility is reset after 3 weeks of not being within 32 meters of any player or NPC while using your jedi robe or your lightsaber.

thanks for the info. So just having my robe on can cause visibility? what about force powers like healing friends etc? Also if I get novice BH with my alt can I check and see if my main in on the terms?

I do not think that simply holding a LS or wearing robes gives you viz, they changed it a while back.
But healing friends and using any other form of force power will give you viz if there are people around.
And yes, you can also use your BH alt with Investigation 3 to see if you're on the terms, or even hold one of your missions, which is lame.

doing anything that uses force within 32m range of any npc pc will give vis equiping robes and sabre also do

So if I use an ordinary weapon like say a pike, wearing ordinary clothes and just use ordinary attacks from the Pikeman-proff, I wont gain any visibility?
Can anyone confirm this?

This is true to a degree. If, before you were killed, other BHs picked up your mission, they still have the ability to come after you (unless they finally fixed that). From what I've heard, the other missions are supposed to drop from any other BH with your mission, but that wasn't happening. Just be careful. As for the robes/LS generating vis. You only gen vis by using your saber or powers within 32m of any PC/NPC. Oh, and equipping/unequipping your LS within 32m will also gen vis.

Ok I have not found a clear answer as to what gives visibility.
Do robes give visibility? Im guessing not
Does having the saber equipped give visibility.. even if you not using it i mean. I know using it and having the blade out does.
How close do you have to be for someone to give visibility?... i thought 35m.. someone said 100.. hard to believe.

You get vis by a non group player or NPC within 35m seeing the following:
- Your saber being ignited
- You robes being equipped/unequipped
- A force power being ignited

Correction, you get vis by equiping/unequiping your LIGHTSABER... the Robe does *not* generate visability if you take it on or off or wear it in public. This was confirmed by a CSR for me.

How about vehicles? Can anyone confirm if vehicles will give you visibility?
