Blodie! Sorry I kept trying to catch you online to warn you to check them. I should have sent you email but it wouldnt' have mattered it turned out. Hopefully it will all end well.

Roalle, the good news is that they believe they have fixed that bug as of yesterday morning. And this morning they are running a routine that may return those items to you. If it works as advertised (and it seemed to work wonderfully when they ran it last night on Test Center) then today when you log in you should find a satchel in your inventory that contains all your lost items. Dont' worry about your inventory, it will fill it up but you wont' lose anything if you are over your inventory allotment. You'll just be full until you off load the items.
Yep, I logged on this morning and got a satchel with over 70 items. My inventory is 180%, but it lets me carry it all.
Here's the problem. I'm on Talus. All of my vendors, and my house, and all of my friends houses, are on Corellia.
I do not have room in my inventory to buy a ticket to get me back there. I would have to drop a LOT of stuff in order to get back down to less than 100%.
I could list some stuff on the bazaar ... but I'm already pretty full up there, including some stuff that I bought that I need to pick up .... on other planets.
Is this an unforseen problem, or am I just being dumb not seeing an obvious way out of it without destroying a bunch of stuff???
Here's an update. I had a friend log on to help me carry stuff. They made two planet hops and dropped most of their inventory at their house on the way. Now we are trying to trade ....
If I try to give her some things, it fails because my inventory is full. Of course, my inventory would have been less full after the trade than it was before the trade, but that doesn't matter ...
So I figure that the trick is that I need to give her enough stuff in the trade to take my inventory to below 100% in one trade.
If I try to give her the satchel, or a different pack with some stuff in it, it shows in her trade window with a 0 (zero) ... as if it was empty. What happens if I complete that trade? Will she actually get all of the stuff despite the way it looks? Or will it all disappear or something???
This is going to annoy a lot of people who were not on the right planet the last time they logged off ...
I'm trying to find an answer for you but I don't have one yet. I would suggest submitting a CSR ticket on this to see if you can get a solution from them.
I'll continue to see what I can find out but there is no guarantee anyone is checking the avenues I have for communication this morning.
I can't get any kind of a trade to work to offload part of my inventory to my friend. Any which way I try to do it, even if the math seems to indicate that we would both be below 100% inventory after the trade ... it bombs out with the "either you or your trading partner has a full inventory" thing.
I've started deleting stuff. At least we're getting some of the stuff back that disappeared from our vendors, or at least we are getting a choice between those things and what's currently in our inventory. I'm going to have to delete about 40 items. The first few aren't any big deal, but I have a feeling it's going to get painful well before I get to 40.
I wish I could give others a warning that would help them avoid this situation, but it's too late. Anyone who logged off in the wrong spot is in the same spot I am.
I wonder if it would even let me offer things on the bazaar or to someone elses vendor? That would probably result in an error also, but I'm not the one who's going to try it. I'm sick of it and committed to throwing stuff away.
I logged in this morning to find a bag with 53 items that were restored that had beenlost off my vendors. These returned items included all my lost weapon repair kits, and 1 lost enhanced jacket. Absent were the 50+ individual and crates of pet stims and vitality packs A/B/Cs. I have had 3 vendors up. One selling repair kits, one selling enhanced clothing, and another selling pet stims. All items lost on the repair kit vendor were restored. 1 item lost of the enhanced clothing vendor was restored (not sure exactly how many were lost off that one), and no items from the petstim vendor. I know for a fact that I lost 50+ items of the petstim vendor (valued at several million credits) that are not present in my inventory, bank, and of my backpacks, or on the vendor. The items lost off the petstim vendor were posted the day of the city patch, so have been missing for the longest time, and the repair kits have been missing since the beginning of the week. Thus, is seems as though the longer an item was missing for, the less likely it is to have been restored. Prehaps there is some threashold for how old an item can be before it become unrestorable?

So everbody got back his stuff? Don't tell me I am the only unlucky one, sure I got a satchel and sure it wasn't empy...a crate of Stim-Bs was in it...but the somewhere between 50 and 100 weapons that vanished from my vendors as well were not there!
O my god, if I am really one of only a few I can forget about ever getting these back....they won't pull another restore pacth for just a handful...

For anyone stuck on the wrong planet with too many items in their inventory.
Ask a friend or find someone willing to help you with any lots left. Have them drop a house and give you admin. Unload all your items in it. If you dont really trust that person remove them from admin. Now you should be able to start transporting your stuff back too your home planet. Depending on how many things you have this mught take a while.
I have multiple vendors (six in all) and now have 237 of the clothing items restored but am still missing items from my other vendors - namely some expensive resources. My inventory is at 437% lmao but thankfully I logged in town.
While I appreciate getting all the clothes back and I honestly hadn't noticed I had that much in stock it's the 250k worth of vooker I was looking forward to having again.

I got a bag with 82 items in it, and had no trouble selling directly from the bag. Did you try just double-clicking on the bag when you had the vendor 'sell item' window open?
