so why even get anything higher than stim b's? human players can be patched up in 2 charges. and if people get really smart then they'll get novice medic a level or two of pharma and just buy stim b's and not pay for our services and heal themselves up..way to make more money guys. i thought we were medics not stimpack peddlers? c's and d's are needed for pets cause they do 1-3k health and action per charge and it seems like it uses more mind (could be my imagination) so now u get to do healing....but only for money... and no xp.. when other professions can run destroy missions and make both xp for their profession AND make money. we may not be vets but we heal the same damage. they have ham we have ham. we heal ham and wounds. whats the diff between pets and players? and i'm thinkin the people who are /unsigning just think it's cheap how we could just sit there and heal pets for 500 xp per c' charge. Well i agree i don't think we should be getting that much but we should be gettign SOMETHING. cut it in half at the most if u want thats fine but let us get xp for using OUR meds to heal. pet ham human ham wuts the difference.

Try buffing the players...you can buff their HAM anywheres from 2K-3K depending on the roll of the dice using nicely experimented Enhance Kits..... Use ALL the tools avaliable.
How is getting xp but no money any different from getting credits but no xp? And don't tell me all those CH's used to pay you enough to break even at the end of the day. There is maybe 10% of the medical population that is so lucky to be in a group that appreciates them that much. I can't even get people to pay for healing them, let alone their pets. It always came down to the old 'you get xp for that, it should be enough'.
Xp is nice, but at the end of the day its credits that pay for my materials and upkeep.
Look at it this way. With all the xp in the world you can heal great, but can't afford materials, weapons, armor, houses, factories, harvesters....etc. With all the credits in the world I can afford all that, and if I need to make xp, I can afford to heal for free in med centers, cantinas, I could afford to buy a droid and heal at starports, shuttles, roam the countryside and heal surveyors, random parties. I can afford to make the good meds and advanced components and go to Lok or Dantooine and work there.
Yes, it does make it more difficult to level a medic fast, but once you reach master medic and doctor we now have another way to make money. If xp was all anyone cared about why do missions? Just run around and kill random mobs for the xp. The truth is credits run everything, xp is secondary. Have enough xp to be a master rifleman? Great, but no money means you are stuck with a CDEF. Because items cost money, not xp.
It seems like a clear choice to me.

Absolutely. Just take away XP from our own damned pets. That would've solved the problem. These sweeping nerfs are worse everyday.
I'm pretty sure I listed several other ways to make xp, let me check...yep, sure did.
Ok, so how do you get the crafting xp while doing all this free pet healing? Do you just magically make resources come out of thin air? I cannot buy my materials with a MILLION xp. Your arguement is void of logic.
Can't you see we need a balance of both xp and credits? All we've had is assured ways to make xp, now they are trying to add assured ways to make credits, which we are lacking and need. I give up, if the pet is so important you'll heal it one way or another, if its not that important you won't, xp and credits regardless.

I believe that if you heal anything but yourself, or an enemy you should get medical experiance. Based on the premis that your doing the same thing, whether your healing a person, a pet, or whatever. You are still HEALING it and should be awarded the medical experience.

Don't tell us to go out in a group.
Groups main tanks are PETS!
Jas, you don't get it. CHs are a big part of this game. Their pets are a big part of this game. A CH is not going to go and let himself take hits when his pets can. I am not going to go and heal their pets if all i get out of it is a bunch of wasted stimpacks.
This hurts the medic community as well as the CH community, and benefits nobody. Just because you are already master, and you don't need XP, doesn't give you the right to determine how everybody else should earn their XP.

1) I get it perfectly well. If ONE type of ANYTHING completely dominates the game, it should cause the Devs (and any self-respecting player) to step back and say hmmm... maybe the fundamental problem is that Pets are now the main tanks. It appears with all the recent fine tunings of Pets, that the Devs have made the statement that they feel players should actually be the focus of fighting, and not pets? Of course, this is my speculation, since the Devs have not said anything really about the whole Pet/Med XP thing.
2) Ah, there lies the rub. It is not JUST the CH's throwing pets. It is everyone in the game. This doesn't shout to you that something is fundamentally wrong?
3) When you hit Master Doc/Medic/Combat Medic and you no longer need ANY Medical XP.. are you going to stop healing altogether? I mean, you willNEVER need Med XP again, once you reach that level. Heal or don't heal the pets. Your call.
4) How exactly does it hurt the Medical Community again? I need quite a bit of Medical XP because I am going to be dual-classed. See my signature? But I still get plenty of medical XP during my play times, becauseI have friends that MAKE SURE I DO. CH's have acouple avenues to take to get their pets healed. Buy BE stims or pay a Medical Professional to heal. So, I still don't see how this is such a huge issue.
Medical XP is so easy to get, it's almost laughable. Quite a few examples have been posted, and I am sure you can think of others. The general consensus seems to me though that you all(collectively) want the BIG, EASY XP to come rolling in. You know, the kind you don't have to work for.
Oh, Kremero, just because I support this decision, I'd like to know how you jumped to the conclusion that I was determining how everyone should earn their XP. That would be like me saying to you that just because you don't support this decision, it doesn't give you the right to determine how everyone should earn their experience.
Im a Ch/Doctor The whole reason i took up doctor is so I could heal my pets and be lucrative at it. Now with this no xp gain for healing pets it puts a major hinderance on me. It makes me wonder if i should just drop doctor now. I hope to see this reverted.
