actually i have wound C, wound treatment IV and wound speed 2...i heal pretty fast and i get like 200+ wound heals and get 500+ xp a heal..even with my stim D i only get 300-500 xp and then the guy is full of H and A and i dont have to heal for a while...

If your not a doctor with high wound treatment and experimented Wound packs above C, its just a pain to xp wound healing..as a medic i did it, and it was cool since the game just came out and was a great way to meet people...the more i played and lvled the less fun it got not to mention slow since unlimited newbie death was put in.

Now i'm back to hanging out at med center to heal and train lower medics...

and xp is pretty dang fast when a full black ham walks in

Helfmadian, if I could do that, I wouldn't really mind either. But I'm working with A and B paks right now. Healing a few hundred health and action points really costs me. What takes you four to six applications and two to four minutes takes me several paks and half an hour. Which is why I've left the med centers for the field where I can heal damage instead of wounds. I don't mind fixing up a friend or someone coming back from a successful mission with a few grazes. I like hearing about their exploits. But I'm not providing stupidity insurance.

Even when I make Doctor, I'll still want my tips. I don't want to have to pick up menial delivery/extermination jobs. I want to be a physician.

It is funny.. It is usually the same people with black bars.. over and over and over again.

Sometimes people in online games simply amaze me.

Hef, sorry for getting defensive on ya like that. I'm a lot like you in that I don't ask for payment or anything like that ...so you can maybe see why I reacted the way I did. Again I apologize. As working toward CM most of my effort now is in stims and keeping people alive in the field. Besides the "OMG HAEL ME PELAESE!!11" spammers I love the atmosphere in the medical center. Sometimes I take what few medpacks I've made and go in there just to talk with people and help out in the healing process.

Elenora,Medpack Cs? I might have to get some of those. Wonder if a novice (and I mean VERY novice) doc can use those. Keep them aside so I can have a little med C soup with my all black HAM.

Overall I've found the atmosphere in the Cantina to be much more friendly, the people in there tend to be even more imaginative and bored so you can get a good conversation going. Then healing the performers you can get some good fast exp that rivals that in the field. I've just wished at times that my droid (aptly named 'squishy' as that's what the critters tend to make of the little toaster) However right now I'm still on the stretch of combat exp to try to get Ranged Support 4, so I've been spending a lot of time in the field.

Why are so many medics happy with the two thousand xp they get healing strangers in the medical center, when in the same amount of time, doing missions with friends, you can make 5-10 times the xp, as well as way, way, way, way more cash.

For doctors, you sure have crappy math skills.

I don't normally expect tips in the field. But if someone comes to the med centre specifically for healing... hell yes, I want to get paid. It's just like going to the doctor RL. Well, except in Canada, where such visit would be covered by insurance, but I digress.

I craft my meds myself, but I still need to buy resources and good ones cost a pretty credit.

Oh, and the original post was great.

Apparently, all of you people want friggin HMO's and PPO's in the game. I hunt, set up extractors, or just buy all my stuff. I get exp for healing. That's all I want or need from being in a med clinic and healing.

There have been many times where I've been broke and couldn't tip well when I needed to be healed. And yes, I do clone, thank you. But I'm also in melee combat so I get wounds quite often. I usually heal my own wounds, though. (Why don't we get exp for that, anyway?) I think it'd be really f***ed up if all medics/doctors stopped healing until they were paid. Oh well, I'll be there to get the exp while you money grubbers are in the corner pouting or outside picketing.

4/4/4/0 medic.
95% of my exp earned in groups in combat, not in town.

Anyway, one of the worse is these stupid creature handlers.

Can you heal my pet? Can you heal my pet?

I dont spend 25k on Stim c's to heal a pet, I use it to keep PC's alive in combat so our group can continue to fight. These **edit** CH's should be able to keep their own pets alive. Here is a tip, if you can't cant take of that 5000lb rancor then maybe you shouldnt have one!

Creature Handlers, heal your own **edit** pet. Now if its a good pet, I have no problems but raising it from incap every other fight is lame.
