Yeah. Having dealt with this a couple of times, the next time I see someone like that I'm refusing service unless they pay up front. I've got better, less expensive things to do.

All I've got to say is ....

Send your ALL BLACK HAM patients to me and I'll heal them to full and have them out the door within 3 minutes. Total cost for them? Nothing... unless they WANT to tip or donate.

I've made Master Doctor and been able to get resources to make some truly UNBELIEVABLE woundpacks by NOT complaining or ever demanding money.

Trust me on this...let people know you are there to Heal their wounds and NOT to make money...and they'll give exactly what you are NOT asking for.

We had THREE folks like that show up within a short time on Tarquinas last night. Luckily they were all well behaved and (at least the ones I worked on) tipped well for the time and effort of all the medics involved.

I understand the desire to not want to seem rude or pushy. But I got to make a living, you know? If I don't get paid for my services, alternate sources of income are scarce. Sure, I could do a couple of delivery missions, but as someone already said, that's like a RL doctor delivering pizza for some side cash. It's just plain stupid. Medics have necessary skills that all combatants need, and it stands to reason that they - who have invested a lot of time into the thankless job of cleaning up after idiots who forgot to clone or, worse yet, rely on the largesse of impoverished Novices trying to make Master - should be compensated for their services. Otherwise, you spend half of your time picking nuts and berries and digging for rocks.

The cash isn't the issue (in fact I never ask for it myself for your exact reasoning, )..but when you play with a group of about 60 friends in a PA and 1/2 of them don't clone it's like watching a pack of monkeys trying to **** a basketball over this whole issue. Actually I got the idea because it's become slightly hillarious and given me this kind of giddy insanity. They keep me well stocked in organics (I have over 13k in bone in the bank now). But it's still hillarious and very circus clown-like getting tells from all over the galaxy from people asking me to heal thier wounds because they won't clone.

Again ...don't read too much into this, take it for what it was ....a little light humor.

I'm friends with one person playing a wooky. He's using the same name he's used for other games. I have not found another wookie, anywhere, without some dumb name like Chewcacca Foobacca Charbacca Chenbacca Chewlacca Chimkakka whatever. I swear I want to beat them. Beat them all. All of them!

All black HAMs? yummy i smell 2000+ xp

The best wookie name I've seen so far was Tewbacco. The usual super fat wookie named Bubba'Plump or something, BigPuppaPump, Chewyybokka, yeah it's getting wierd.

Wound healing is the WORST xp hehe. One of the main reasons I'm working the combat medic tree (not messed with my Dr. tree in 2 days) is because I like healing damage a lot more than wound. You can do it every 5 seconds, usually more XP per heal, and usually a lot of it to do, not to mention much more player interaction besides "need heal NOW!" from mr. all black HAM.

I understand where you're coming from and my reply was actually meant more towards Valkyryn's response than your initial one.

That being said, keep in mind that these very same peeps will eventually be the ones you'll want in the Med Center. I for one have to stop myself from cheering (for fear of my significant others opinion of my sanity being proven true) when someone walks in that just has a sliver of non-black Action / Health HAM.

It is anything but uncommon for me to pick up 1000xp per application of a woundpack to someone that has TONS of wounds. Yes, that's per application, not per patient. Pair this with the fact that my experimental packs can have upwards of 30 charges on them...and you've got quite the xp monster all wrapped up into 2 woundpacks (Action, Health) and a few bad decisions by players to not clone.
