Not that I am saying this is fake, but it is possible that he simply put a -1fc crystal in his saber.

hmmm....Havn't actually thought of that though....but I don't think so coz the other stats would also have been modified to a small degree...and the stated force cost usage match the force cost multiplier for Dervish2 and I didn't tell him what the multiplier was untill after he told me the force cost for a single swing using Dervish2.
And I have another SS coming in from the Intrepid server possible two, so I believe they are out there:-)

The Village crafting tools can't break any caps....and the 94% your refering to is for the average percentage for Health, Action, Mind and Force Cost:-) Since you can get a 1st gen saber to like 98% overall and hence the Force Cost line to around 95% or better I am starting to believe that you need that crit.succes to bust some resource caps and that better resource wouldn't do the job.....

I apologize for diverting the thread (thanks again BTW Ataho for all the work here and earlier) but what are the two items the guy is wearing in the pic? "Dark Jedi Ba..." and "Dark Jedi Fo...". Not robes, can't find listing in items . Thanks. /endjack

I have been mapping the force cost multiplier for each sabertype and their special attack lately and as an extension of those tests I have also been trying to figure out the hidden decimals on sabers without any crystal/pearls equiped. We all know that the same crystals/pearls used in two different sabers can have a different force cost eg. the saber have hidden decimals, so I was expecting that using the same crystals/pearls in the two differently experimented sabers (both FC48 - 86% and 95%)would yield different force cost usages for the same special attack. To my surprise that wasn’t the case, I used the same amounts of force power for each saber. I also tried with only a color crystal and came up with same result – they all had the same force power usages. I know for a fact that the decimals on the crystals/pearls are applyied to the force cost usage for each special as you can have different combos of crystals/pearls giving the same force cost and those sabers have different force cost usage.
So my conclusion is that the hidden decimals on the saber are not counted for in regards to force power usages for specials but only affects the total force cost stat for the saber – like if the combined decimals of the saber and the crystal/pearls bump the force cost down by one.
If anyone have different experiences plz post, so we can get to the bottom of this:-)
EDIT: Have done some more testing and now I'm really puzzle. Got this new pearl tuned today...-9 49/49 :-) did some testing with that in the saber. Now I get different force power usages for Dervish2 ranging from 34-31......So I think more test needs to be done lol.....after 5 more hits I never got different force powers usages and I now always use 31 force powers for a Dervish2 which devided by the force cost multiplier x3 is 10.3 Fc and my saber is FC 10.....
EDIT: Im beginng to suspect that I had my force armor on during the testing where I got very different force power usages, since I think I slaped that FA on for killing a Nova trooper 10-20 mins earlier....

i've had two sabers, one with seven points into force cost and one with ten points and there is a slight difference. one special cost me 27 force to use and the other cost 28. the decimals in the saber do affect your specials, just they are so insignificant unless you spam specials for twenty minutes straight.

You would assume that the decimals range from .01 - .99 making the effect more noticible....My 9 points exp. saber uses the same amounts of force powers as my 7 and 8 point sabers with the same crystal/pearls equiped......
Could you try retesting with a FC 20 saber if possible and using Dervish2? If you use other specials like Spin3 which have a FC multiplier of 2,25 it might be the reason for the different force power usages:-)

I wish they would give us some floating numbers over our head (that only we could see) to display how much force we're using. That'd be nice.

You could have the force cost usage for each special implemented into your macro if you use those....Then you would say it out loud what amounts of force powers are using everytime:-)
