Good info, so there's no real benifit to using a 0/10 saber instead of a 2/8 (in terms of points experimented on FC) if it comes out to 10fc on each with crystals. Probably smart to keep both on hand though incase you tune a new -9 to see if you can't get 9 FC w/ decimals on the 0/10.

I would suggest having both a max experimentated force cost saber and one that reaches FC48 with the smallest amount of exp. points...That gives you a saber with a little more dmg but also a saber that could possible bump you one point down on force cost with better tuned crystal/pearls....
Update: I just did some tests with my 1h saber and got the same result using different specials - they all use the same amounts of force power....but if some more ppl could test this out I would be happy if you post the results here....

Funny reading this thread now because I did this test myself last week. I already had a 0/10 saber and decided to build a 3/7 saber to see what the difference may be. I realized that I'm using one more point of force cost for certain specials (not all specials - mostly just high end ones). Which doesn't seem too bad I suppose. But in reality those 3 points I used in damage experimentation gave me 4 more points of damage on my saber, and 8% higher wound chance. Not something extremely helpful.

Could you tell me which specials you used? And have you tried with Dervish2/Flurry2/Phantom as all these have a rounded force cost multiplier...

Already did spam other forums. I'm not even sure exactly what the point of that mess was.
