With best ever resources on Naritus, and an amazing success on assembly I am able to hit 94% on efficiency and yet am still capped at 48 FC. I have 2 of the crit success exp tools and have been waiting to try and see if they can break 94%. I would have to say from my experience that a 47fc would require better than a 94% eff rating.

The Village crafting tools can't break any caps....and the 94% your refering to is for the average percentage for Health, Action, Mind and Force Cost:-) Since you can get a 1st gen saber to like 98% overall and hence the Force Cost line to around 95% or better I am starting to believe that you need that crit.succes to bust some resource caps and that better resource wouldn't do the job.....

On Chilastra we can get 97% and its still 48. It might be a low decimal 48 though.

The 97% is the average percentage for Helath, Action Mind and Force cost...the 93% Im refering to here is the force cost line only:-)

I'm on Chilastra, i had an amazing success on crafting, and 4 amazing successes on experimentation. I was at 48 fc with 4 slots left to experiment. I got 3 greats and 1 more amazing and it was still at 48 fc, but I know the decimal is lower because I take the pearls out of one saber and drop them in this saber and the total fc is one less. So I believe it is effectively a 47 fc saber.

wow....didnt think making FC48 with 6 exp. points was possible anymore:-) Can you remember your assembly percentage?
In regard to the hidden decimals, your saber could probably be 48.2 and that is bumping down the FC by one if the decimals on the crystals/pearls are 2.7 and compared to your other saber which might be 48.4 and not bumping the FC down by one.....

I didn't pay any attention to the % unfortunately.
p.s. What has changed that would make you think 48 is not possible any more?

I can get my 4th gen polearm to 48 fc no problem but when it comes to my 1 hand it can never seem to get it below 49.

If you access the TRE files for SWG on your computer it will show that the FC on a 4th gen is hard capped at 48. How was he able to break the hard cap, if in fact he did?

I know this is true to a extent-- HOWEVER I have seen these in non photo shop screen shots... kinda kills that idea-- (not that we may now)

Better resources or a crit.succes will do it:-) Could you post what resouces you are using? And your assembly and max experiment percentage?
