Scythes can be nicer then PHs at times. The horrible accuracy on a PH really hurts.
To anwser your question if you know what to do you can survive in PvP with your Master Sword/brawler.
If not stacked with anything else you will have weak defense which will hurt a ton and if you don't have doc fire will hurt you and if you get the resis buffs pray the CMs have junk potency. So that means w/o those 2 things you will have to fight alot harder.
But if you are not capped with a Hammer go with a Scythe.

and also remember, a swordsmen is a turret killer
in pvp/base takedowns, you may not do to well against the other players... but you are one of the most important people out there when it comes to taking out the turrets..... good old blast damage

Privateer pilots get prompted when entering a PvP zone as to which faction they want to be affiliated with for PvP.

Privateers can PvP without going into a PvP zone. A rebel with the privateer tree can just declare on he ground and be overt in space, or can just declare at a faction spaceport.
Space doesn't care about what your pilot tree is when it comes to PvP. It just cares about your ground faction and overt/covert status.

So, remastered rifleman about 2 weeks again and been pvping. What weapon do you use more rifle wise. I have tried Jawa, DXR-6b and Jawa. I get different results in each instance, which do you use the most?

most will say t use the DXR for the enhanced accuracy and its acid damage breaks through PSGs, some still might say to use the jawa for stun damage, however most skilled pvpers are smart enough to carry stun armor and PSGs for this reason. I personally find myself using my DXR the most for the accuracy. When you are fighting major stackers and your jawa and DXR does crap to them, i suggest putting a max damage pup on a T21 and you will be able to do a very fair amount of damage to the person no matter who they are.

Past few months it's been the DXR-6. Prior to this it was always my Jawa, but seemingly overnight Bria discovered PSGs, which really necessitated a rifle change for PVP. I'd have to say I use my DXR-6 about 75% of the time now, with Jawa maybe 20% and T-21 about 5% of the time now. I also always run with powerups, and keep several in my inventory available for quick upgrades in combat.
