Wear, Stun: Helmet, Gloves, Boots, Chestplate and you should be covered. Try to get all these to 80% electricity/40% stun(or 34% at least). And slice up a few sets til you get about 85%+ base. And wear a PSG unless you have some AA in a Mabari Belt. And most questions regarding PvP can probably be asked in the new PvP forum...

The 4 suit works if your anything but trando. If your tranoshan you need helm chest PANTs and 2 BRACERS! stupid armor holes.

well i pvp with swordsman heres my template

master swords|Cm 4/0/0/4| doc 3/000

and i was wondering say i use my acklay power hammer. (750+ max dmg) but im not speed capped with a speed pup on my power hammer wud i be effective or wud i suck??? like this wat i do run in with group throw area poisin andfight my heart out. and heal and ect.. lemme know

not a bad pvp temp. sounds like a headache. i wouldnt recommend using a hammer unless you were speed capped or atleast had master brawler to help you out. stick with a scythe..hell you chuck mind poisons, so all you need to do is do like what?- 200 damage by the time you get to him? you dont need a powerful weapon if your using cm as your main head busta. just use a scythe to quickly finish him off. power hammers also suck with accuracy and you need all the accuracy you can get.

If you drop swords and get Master pikes you can have the fotm pvp template.

1. Get speed capped man.

2. Use that 750 max ph.

3. Stick with that template.

I am master doc and master swords and not to brag or anything but in most battles I am one of that last people to die. I might be able to do alot of 1v1, but I am a good group fighter. My ph is only 730 and I have been doing good. You find that you will only die to 2 or more people. With the 750 max and speed capped, you'll do just fine. You can hit people for close to 1k of damage, all depends on thier armor, food, and such, but it can be done.

Ive been Master Commando for a while now, i really like it even though it has so many bugs so its not the best for PvE. Is it any good for PvP? Reason i ask is im trying to get a little more involved in PvP on my server.

Ermm actually you can at least on bria get some really decent 1000+ damage flamethrowers for 30k a pop. The SAC is a tad high. And once i get the proper materials i'm going to bugger around with PFTs abit to see if I cant craft a better one. Hard thing to do though when i'm only a 10pt WS

Anyway. I've found MCom very good in PvP when mixed with the right profession for your style of play. ESPECIALLY when it comes to rooting. Nothing like taking your flamethower out in close quarters combat in a base or something and rooting 8+ guys all in one shot. ANd then merrily grenading the crap out of them with an assortment of explosive delights.

If anything I've found that all the grenades I use in PvP are the big money sucker. Generally when I'm out PvPing i can easily count on sucking up about 5+ stacks of protons and thermals. mabye 3 stacks of glops and cryobans. And well sort of up and down on the imperial detonators.

But certainly I've never regretted PvPing with commando and tossing nades in PVP. Especailly when I get 3-4 incap messages scrolling on my screen when I toss a proton at a night tight grouping of wounded imperials.

Is it as effective as other templates? Probably not. But it's a whole hell of alot of fun

I pvp on Starsider often myself. Haven't had the resources to attain a wide variety of grenades but the flame dot tickin for almost 400 a tick on a full group of adversaries is rather effective as well as rooting the entire bunch of em. AoE effects is amazing in pvp, now if they can get the damage down too it'll be excellent. My only complaint is the Assault armor certs. They don't be terribly useful in most pvp and technically a commando should be certed for all armor.

I got 1 PvP tourny under my belt and am working on 2 more

Definatly viable in 1v1 with a good template and good weapon.

In group PvP we are quite helpfull support because of the area states.
