Enjoy it as a yacht not as a warship!
Except we cant even launch it AT ALL if we have a warship and it has so much as a chair for our passengers in it.
useless
No it is not why would you need 2 of them have you no friends in this game have your mate run the warship and you run the yacht. see problem solved.

Why dose everyone want 2 multi-pass ships? why would anyone need 2 multi-pass ships?
1 for combat with other people and 1 for touring with friends and just having fun.
True but most people will not have fun on there own or fight in a multi-pass ship on there own so why dose one person have to have 2 multi-pass ships, why not in a group of mates:
1 has the reward ship.
1 has the priviteer ship.
1 has the rebel ship.
1 has the imp ship.
From what i know the multi-pass ships can hold 10-20 people right? so why would they all need 2 multi-paas ships.

But I have a quesiton, TH. How will interiors work? We'll have to take everything out of our ship if we want to launch in another one that's multi-player. This is going to be a real pain to have to redecorate every time. Is there a way that the system will remember where everything is placed, so we only have to "insert" the furniture into the ship and it'll be automatically replaced?
And another question... say I have the Yacht and the Nova Cruiser. If the Nova Cruiser has no items in it but the Yacht does, will I still be able to launch the Nova?

I'm sure that the Devs will find some way of quickly emptying the ship. Its still Beta. In the mean time imagine sitting down in a nice comfy chair on the main deck and looking outside those HUGE windows. I wish my house had a few windows like that. I love this ship.
wow...........just wow.

Awsome!
But I have a quesiton, TH. How will customizations work on this ship? Will we be able to change more then just the paint and texture? Like weapons, engines, shields, ect.?

He's already said no.
It cannot be upgraded (and so can do very little other than look pretty) ... but you cant decorate it either if you want to be able to launch a mulit-passenger ship that can be upgraded.
Vets will fly this thing once and then delete it. No serious JTL player is going to sacrifice his ability to have a warship for a noob ship with a couch in it.
TH ... you have to get this thing upgradeable.

There are also technical limitations with having more than one multiplayer vehicle decorated at the same time. That won't be possible. I wish it were different, but it can't be. Sorry.
So does this mean we can launch 2 multiplayer ships but only 1 can have items in it? If this is true then I will still be very happy. I want this ship SOOO bad because it is by far the most beutiful ship I have seen. A combat ship doesnt NEED to be decorated so I would not mind only having that sexy beast of a yacht decorated while my Reb ship is empty but I can fight in it.
I must say EXCELENT job to the art team on desining this ship I am STILL drooling and I have been looking at pics of it all day. Unfortunatly I cannot get this ship for a while yet
so it looks like I will be begging guildies for rides ![]()

the problem is not solved. not even by a long shot. You clearly aren't getting the point here. Go back and read the whole thread.
Yes i do get the point.
Think about it why dose everyplayer in this game need 2 multi-pass ships.
I can see the point on i want to sight see but i don't want to move the stuff i have from one multi-pass ship to the next. Well guse what you don't have to.
Most people are in gulidsright, so why not have people in the guild sort the ships out so they can do what every they want e.g.
Bob is in a guild he has the reb multi-pass ship, his giuld is 20-40 people strong. He has an idea for a cool party his mate has yacht and he will let bob use the ship for the party.
See they don't have the problem of the furniture as they only have one multi-pass ship.

Hey TH, can we put vendors in ships? I think that would be cool for the bar when I open up my buisness.
Yes, you can put furniture and anything else you could place in a player structure on the ground.
You can only launch one multiplayer ship at a time though and you can only have "stuff" in one multiplayer ship at a time. So If you are flying around in your YT-1300 and want to land and Head out on the Yacht, you will have to empty the first vehicle of all it's items. Otherwise players would load up both ships and it would lead to a lot of dead database space.
So we have a ship we can decorate, but if we want to run missions or anything else we have to take out all decorations and find another place to store stuff? As if storage isnt enough of an issue now. I hope you have the asbestosundies handy.
Rereading a bit...maybe this means you can leave deco in one multiplayer ship and still use a fighter w/o undecorating?
This is also correct - - this rule applies to multiplayer vehicles only.
It would be very cool if this was a button toggle where it would "remember" the placement of your items. That way when you decorate a ship you could "switch" them to the other ship and always have the correct placement of items, making it so we wouldnt have to re-decorate everytime. If this is the case I will only be using my YT-1300 instead of the Yacht.
I agree. It'll be a pain to have to re-decorate each ship every time I want to use it. Guess I wont leave much in my Nova Cruiser...

See they don't have the problem of the furniture as they only have one multi-pass ship.
Thank you sir for sharing your ignorance yet again.
