1 for combat with other people and 1 for touring with friends and just having fun.True but most people will not have fun on there own or fight in a multi-pass ship on there own so why dose one person have to have 2 multi-pass ships, why not in a group of mates:
1 has the reward ship.
1 has the priviteer ship.
1 has the rebel ship.
1 has the imp ship.
From what i know the multi-pass ships can hold 10-20 people right? so why would they all need 2 multi-paas ships.
Perfect but ... so the ppl you typed as having the Imp ship, or the rebel, or the privateer ... they need to delete his reward? or not even use it? or do they have to resign to decorate his MP ship?
You answered yurself on a group of 4 friends only one could have his veteran ship, in my guild 90% ppl is veteran, how many of them will have to resign to use it?
Be sure, if im only allowed to decorate 1 MP ship ill decorate the Imp one, not the veteran one.

No it is not why would you need 2 of them have you no friends in this game have your mate run the warship and you run the yacht. see problem solved.
the problem is not solved. not even by a long shot. You clearly aren't getting the point here. Go back and read the whole thread.
Yes i do get the point.
Think about it why dose everyplayer in this game need 2 multi-pass ships.
I can see the point on i want to sight see but i don't want to move the stuff i have from one multi-pass ship to the next. Well guse what you don't have to.
Most people are in gulidsright, so why not have people in the guild sort the ships out so they can do what every they want e.g.
Bob is in a guild he has the reb multi-pass ship, his giuld is 20-40 people strong. He has an idea for a cool party his mate has yacht and he will let bob use the ship for the party.
See they don't have the problem of the furniture as they only have one multi-pass ship.
Thank you sir for sharing your ignorance yet again.
In what way have i done that.
Ok i see the point now its a reward that everyone will get but not everyone will be able to use. Is that it.
But don't you see not every single playerwill need a non-combat and a combat multi-pass ship in this game. If you think everyone will need 2 of them plz do tell me why.

Awsome!
But I have a quesiton, TH. How will customizations work on this ship? Will we be able to change more then just the paint and texture? Like weapons, engines, shields, ect.?
He's already said no.
It cannot be upgraded (and so can do very little other than look pretty) ... but you cant decorate it either if you want to be able to launch a mulit-passenger ship that can be upgraded.
Vets will fly this thing once and then delete it. No serious JTL player is going to sacrifice his ability to have a warship for a noob ship with a couch in it.
TH ... you have to get this thing upgradeable.

This game is not just about running aroung and killing stuff. There are lots of people that never haveandnever will have a combat profession that play this game. I can't wait for this ship. It is above and beyond what I expected.
I think what upsets you the most is that you don't get your "Uber Vet Multiplayer Warship" as a novice pilot and instead have to work to get your combat multiplayer ship like everyone else.
Thank you Devs for not making this a combat vessel and giving people that do not wish to be in combat, even in space, some content. It also satified my worries about people starting out at novice and being able to breeze through it because of this ship.
P.S.- Would still really like to know what the item limit on this beauty will be.

So because I want to use this gift I'm being given in apprication for my long term good standing in the game I have to give up on haveing a multi-passenger war ship!? That's just stupid to the point of "who's doing the typing for you".
I dont want to have to find guld members just to go up and take out a few pirates. I want the option of doing it myself. And I shouldnt have to delete this "reward" as useless in order to do that.
Regarding customization of this ship or lack thereof... will all of these look exactly the same? Or can the hull, carpeting, etc. be customized in some way? Obviously, the interiors would all be somewhat different based on your furniture selection, but it would be real nice to be able to change the carpet color if you're not a fan of the red.

TH,
Thanks a bunch for hovering around this thread and posting some answers... much appreciated.
Beautiful windows...
Once again Omadda Szool will be touring the galaxy in style... like he did before those Imperials blew up his ship and kept him abourd their stationfor interrogation, until they realised he was no pirate... just a galaxy-wide traveling musician.
One enormous question still remains.
I know the exact number ofhow many ships people will have is not (at least publically announced)final, and likely will not be until release, but...
are you able to tell us if this luxury yacht will indeed count as one of those ships towards the player's limit?
Then again, maybe we're better off not knowing, as the answer we don't want to hear would just give us something to complain about
If itIS the answer we do want to hear though... please tell us

Would it be possible so that if a muliplayer ship is not decorated by the player that it have some sort of default set of decorations (that don't use db space and can't be manipulated by players)? Make the default set sparse enough to encourage players to decorate themselves, but also have enough there so that if players are in the situation of having more than one multiplayer ship that they don't have to look at an empty ship (or tear apart their other).
This is a very good idea... TH, do you think there's any way they may be able to pull something like that off?
(can't wait for this release!!!)

Completely incorrect. Make the reward ship useable at master for all I care. Dont assume to know why people are upset unless you take the time to really read the whole thread and figure it out.
Not only have you gotten why we're upset wrong you're base argument is invalid...

Get a starfighter then.

You dont get to make the decisions on what ship my character wants to fly.
The DEVs have made this reward useless for any serious JTL pilot.

What are the people complaining wanting in this ship exactly? (pls tell)
I'm happy using it as a spectator ship
TH next beta phase needs some more information like if pre-odering is the only way in?
If you want into beta, you should be registered. As has been said, JtL Ships at the end of October. The Pre-Order Beta Pack is most likely going to be the last phase of beta.
WHAT ABOUT THOSE OF US THAT ARE 17 AND CANT REGISTER?!?!?!?!
You just gonna say F yall for bein born to late?
I do beleive that the open beta won't have an age restriction since i beleive the nda will be lifted
my too cents
