Why don't you shut your piehole for a moment. This game does help fixing the ground game.

Star Destroyer... boy is it long.
I have enjoyed almost every moment playing it- with the exception of a mission bug, which has taken the dev team a while to fix. Shadowbrak has assured me that a fix is in the works, and it should take care of many of the issues with overpowered NPC ship missles.
In short, the development team has been very responsive to the beta testers. While alot of the time they have quietly worked on patches, bug fixes, and tweaking the flight models- they have surprised us on many occasions. It has been fun, frustrating, and exciting, and I have enjoyed testing and being a part of the beta experience to the Jump to LightSpeed.
Stories- well, I'll spare you those, there are plenty out here.

this game needs another month to 2 months in beta
one thing you have to remember, in beta there was only one server, and you have a huge number of people standing around the starports and the frogs.
so there really isnt a lag problem, there was lag only cuz they had an extremely large number of players on one server
