This was earlier in beta when the trainer selection still appeared in the UI despite ctrl-shift-h.

I haven't flown one, but I'm 99% sure the regular Y-Wing is the 2-player ship.
If take the Y-Wing up alone, then you can't fire the top turret. You need to have somebody grouped with you, then launch the ship and they will automatically be put in the turret. All weapons on the Longprobe are usable by the pilot as there is no second player seat.
Awesome!

Best time I've had was ina yacht with escorts of 2 decimators and a TIE oppressor, using the yacht as a little capital ship and squadrongroup. We have about 10 peopleonboard the Yacht, pilot gets out of his chair and comes downwith us at the main room there to enjoya musican and hear some of us talk. Most of uswere wearing black tailor made officer uniforms, and the pilots all in pilot uniforms, and talking about how jtlis going to affect us in-game and such.
While we are talking, one of the decimator pilots yells out about Rebel players coming into attack range. Our yacht pilot laughed and said "Wellthe Devs told us this ship is invulnerable. Don't worry, were safe."
Our ship starts to shake wildly so he rushes back up to the command pod to get back at the controls. He yells out a "Oh uh.", and the next minute all 10 of us onboard the yacht are watching it explode into a fire ballThose Decimator pilots couldnt stop laughing after reading that chat and watching usburn up there. HehIm still laughing from that.
Ah. Cooly. I'm guessing that the LongProbe is higher spec than the Y-Wing, then? faster, better guns, more manoeuvrable, or something?

Devs, I have a complaint. Your dang graphics on the JTL site made everything look crappy! YOU LIED THROUGH PICTURES!!!!
Those graphics look amazing. And the Black Sun fighters...wow. I'm not surprised you saved them until the end.
Since the NDA is up, and you guys have all played on Beta, can you answer a few questions for me? I know they've been asked before, but I'll ask them all anyway.
1. How many fighters are you allowed?
2. How customisable is your paintwork? I saw someone's Y-Wing with pretty cool decoration on...do you get to pick patterns?
3. If you change your paintwork, is it permenant, or does it fade?
4. The Nova Courier...what does it look like?
5. What do the new ships fly like - Agressor and Opressor specifically.
Thanks for that in advance.
Now...TH...if you see this, please pass my sentiments onto your collegues:
Congratulations, Devs. If the game is half as good as these guys say, and the screenies show...wow. JTL looks worth the wait. Forget everything bad everyone's said about your dedication to this expansion. It looks like every second you've spent on it has been put to good use. And, from what people are saying, it works, straight off. The ground game may have gotten off to a bad start...but JTL more than makes up for that. The graphics that people are taking screen shots of...they're as good as the movies you've released to us. I'd NEVER have believed we'd get those in game. But it looks like we're getting them. I am genuinely wow'd...and I think there are a lot of gamers that will be too. Everything that I'd have wanted in JTL (all the important stuff, anyway) is there. The graphics look amazing. The interphase looks great. The missions sound superb. Congratulations Devs...you've done yourselves proud.
Now...if I fly through a black hole, will it make my copy of JTL come any faster?
Oh, yeah. Can we get info on the other ships for the Friday Feature? Please? *begs*

1. You are allowed 3 ships. You can have only one multiperson ship furnished at a time (this may have changed, ( but you can have a max of 3 ships at one time)).
2.yes
3. dont know.....
4. The nova cruiser is awesome looking inside it has a few different rooms. however I think the little room with the componets in it should be moved to the other side of the ship. because on the other side of the ship their is a hallway that just dead ends. but I did like the nova better then the decimator.
5. Not sure im a rebel!
So am I...I'm hoping they're yucky, nasty, and sluggish.
