Ease your pain, master Pistoleer first
Indeed!
Although I did honestly find that having pistol melee defense from pistoleerwas such a huge help when I started doing smuggler the first time.

I just aquired the TIE fighter certification and I can't figure out how install the correct blasters. When I launch into space i can't fire my blasters at all. Is there a certain type I need?

Make sure you have a capacitor installed as well. I launched without one once and my weapons would not fire.

Means you are flying into the invisible wall in space that does not let you go outside the boundaries of the space zone. You will notice sometimes you are flying sideways its because you are scraping along htis invisible wall.

all depends where you load and where you get hyperspaced too. It would be aweseome if the 'invisible wall' was colliable.

G'day,
I'm new to the game and grinding out my BH as we speak... as I am short of credit, and knowledge, I was wondering if anyone cuold give me a quick tip in terms of armor, since there is so many to look thru..
I am a Rodian, with BH aspirations, naturally, and I was just wondering, should I be avoiding heavy armor altogether?? Given my little green champ is smaller in stature to most other characters..
What;s the best armor I can slap on without horribly slowing down a Rodian, bearing in mind I'll want to be quick enough to kill jedi one day!
Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Depends on your template. For now if you are hunting NPC marks, wear ubese, get a speed sliced LLC, go prone and just use the default attack on the NPC. I always go unbuffed when hunting NPCs. Usually they get in only 2 hits at me before I kill them with my 2.8 speed 450-750 damage LLC. By the time you hit INV III just have a set of composite armor to protect you from the jedis friends. If the jedi is alone then take off the armor since saber cuts through any armor. Invest in some regular PSGs, not the imperial ones, as some of them have saber resist. And also insure your items, as they do not decay on a PVP death.

Great, thank you very much
Just wanted to make sure I hadn't made a horribly poor choice in character species and was beginning what would be a wasted grind.
I'm not sure what my template is gonna be in the end, no doubt I'll mix and change as I learn and try new things.. at the moment I'm Novice Marksman (for pistols and carbines), Brawler (for melee ability) and Scout (for the necessary Investigation skills to get into the MBH). My main thinking behind this is to be able to attack the dogs from medium-range, and still have a chance if it the fight ends in a way that sees me having to get in a hand-to-hand situation.
As I mentioned, only been playing a day, so not sure off-hand whether I'll have enough skill slots for all that!
But yeah, thanks again, you've given me a good idea to start experimenting with... time to get my grind on and daydream of one day tracking jedi
