No, you cannot get the skill to use something (Manage Vendors, not drop them) and then drop the skill and expect to keep the benefits.

...Oh wait...I forgot. Merchant is a disposable profession. And here I was wondering why when I dropped Master Pistol Stances & Grips I couldn't use Fan Shot any more.

See I heard somewhere that you were able to do that since release. I'm sry if I offended you. I just don't want to hastle any merchant withh having to monitor my goods all the time.

SunLao,

Are you aware that this is listed in the Merchant guide under Known Bugs? I think this warrants confusion on a newbie merchant's part, and probably warrants a little understanding from you.

Just my two cents..... No worries Risolis.

I just got novice combat med and I looked at the crafting tree and almost had a heart attack. I was wondering what are the best items to craft while your grinding ie which ones give the most crafting xp

thanks

Well, in my experience...best bang for you buck in-game is Infection Amplifiers

for grinding, best is to save all the special resources for CM components, as they are hard to come by.

for grinding, the old ABEC is still the best

i used adv BEC's like 84 xp per 18 fiber and class 4 vs 110 from 25 each on an adv CM part.

Math says it all, less resources less money, lil more time

I found a gold bracelet as loot. When I equip it, I don't see it on my character (even on the picture accessible through the inventory screen). What good is jewelry then?

I haven't tried Gold Bracelets, myself, but Bangles and Metal Bands show up on the avatar when worn. Perhaps your character detail settings affect it, or it's time to send in that bug report!

Hm, the bracelets have always shown up on my character, but they often have clipping issues with long sleeved shirts or gloves. I can see them all just fine though as long as my arms are bare.

Jewelry is basically a vanity item.

It just looks good.

I have just started playing, and understand you can make your own camp kits, but don't know how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

If you have Novice Scout skill you can use a general crafting tool, some hide and some bone to make camp kits.
