Thread: Noob Question
I know this is a nooby question but how can I make my pet grow as large as possible? Am I jsut suposed to log on every day? Should I feed it all the time? What do I do?
You pet will grow automatically in your data pad until full grown... takes an average of five real life days.
I have read that you need to log your character in each day, but I am not sure if this is true. I do know that you do not have to call the pet at all for it to grow.
To name your pet, teach it 4 seperate commands starting with his name... for example: Ubu follow, Ubu kill, Ubu stay, Ubu store. Now your pet is named Ubu for all to see.

I could be wrong, and I hope I am. It does seem like 10 days is too long. Just ignore my last post, it was late and I wasnt thinking clearly. My mistake.

2 Questions guys...
1. I want to be able to place a vendor in my house. I know I have to get business 3 to be able to do that. But after I put the vendor in my house do I still need to have business 3 to operate it? Or can I surrender the skill?
2. I am a constant seller of leathery hide and bone in SWG. What is a fair price to sell the resources in.
I can answer the first one. As of right now, you can drop Bus III and keep your vendor HOWEVER this is a known issue. There may come a day when you can suddenly no longer manage that vendor and it may even go poof on you with all your goods.
So, just be forewarned on that. Of course, it's been a known issue since release I believe so it may not matter hehe.

Just general crafting to get up the Business branch. To get Novice Merchant you have to have merchant xp which comes from having a vendor or entry fee.
I never did the entry fee thing, but I think it's 50xp per visitor. You get 150xp per hour from each vendor you place (remember, you only getone at Bus III) and 50xp each time somebody views your vendor. There's a time limit though for both entry fee and vendor viewing.
Best place to look for merchant xp is on the Merchant board. There is a sticky there that gives all the good info on that.

2 questions guys,,,,
1. I want to put a vendor in my house. Once I hit business 3 in artisan, can I drop the skill once I place my vendor and still be able to control it? Or do I have to stick with it to keep it working.
2.I am a constant seller of hides and bones, which I am also planning to sell in my house. What is a good price per unit for these things.

Hmm... i never actually thought of doing that. I dont think it will work though, but who knows.

It depends. I personally never buy anything for more than 3cr a unit, unless im desperate and then i will reluctantly do 4cr/unit. But i see hides and bone sell for as much as 10cr a unit.
