Chill, WookieRebel. So he hasn't exactly been keeping up to date on things. Tho I know where you're coming from. titles are wrongly given out. like the current "veteran" rewards but that's another story for another post.

In the SWG strategy guide (which was useless, since everything in the book is wrong except for city maps, of course the bestine one is out dated) It says that one of the fraction perks was that, you can buy a"caller" device for 600 FP and you can make STs or RTs drop at any position and kill ANYTHING with in a 300m radius, and when your in a PvP battle, they drop STs and RTs to come to your aid....

Actually, i would like to see to be able to use the FS skills to improve CH. If you decide to devote all your force into the CH profession, than you should get CL120+, 5 pets out and rare babies that you can only tame and control if you are FS.

For me, CH is a combat prof and pets are weapons and defense. So if a "real" combat profession can use the force sensitiveness to improve his defense and attack ( http://swgexplorer.dras.us/tc9/force_sensitive_combat_prowess.htm and http://swgexplorer.dras.us/tc9/force_sensitive_enhanced_reflexes.htm ), than i demand something similar for CHs.

Personally I think the space portion of the game and the ground portion need to be better tired together. I am not sure if this concept has been discussed or not. Imagine this for an idea. You would pull a mission from a terminal and would have to fly to rebel ship and board it to do the mission. Make the missions a little more then a grind as well. Make it where you have to a group to complete them just like when you invade a faction base. This would combine the space and land portions better then what we have now.

This might have been suggested before but I think there could be real milage in this idea.


Basically, create a new type of blueprint that allows a shipwright to preload the chassis with parts, meaning that the customer can just take the blueprint along to the dealer and get a fully kitted out ship in return.


This gives the shipwright something to concentrate on, after all, we are the masters at making stuff fit and knowing what is possible. It would allow those of us with the experience to create a work of art for a customer, who, hopefully would be happy to pay a premium for it.


Pro's:


A complete package, no more fiddling about for the customer that cannot be bothered to do so

Helps 10lot shipwrights compete with the big boys, producing a few well crafted ships a day could yield considerable profit

Less clicky click for those shipwirhgts that do not like acting like a factory a few hours a day

Adds "art" to the profession, making a really good A wing is difficult, but the rewards from making one are obvious to the client once they fly it

Pride in your work


Cons:


Less work for component vendors, although I cannot see that making this possible will mean that everyone will suddenly buy a pre made ship

Maybe no market for such a change, player reaction to the idea will tell on this

Lots and lots of work to produce something good, people might not be willing to pay for the time that has gone into it

Variety, will the diversity between loadouts be sufficent to create a competitive market


Feedback please, more pros and cons for some idea of just what is possible, this ship was designed to be hell in space for the imperials, and in that goal, she is a success. Very low mass components, except for shielding, armor and weapons.
