I suspect this could be about where that droid would land on Ahazi.

Plus look at the fact that Scout resources sell for a lot. People with high Harvest skill like Rangers don't get a big boost with the weaker droids, yours will help them a lot.
I would go 150k maybe. 120k at least. But ours is a rich server.

well im working on a second batch (full run of 122 R3s..... darn adv brains kill it hehe) and i'm starting to remember what a pain making R3s from scratch is..... so maybe i'll charge more just because of that (i dropped a fourth factory too)

I am selling my 114 on Naritus for 200 k and did not get complaints from any customers.
I sell my 105-107 variants for 50 k.
So you might want to sell the first 10 - 30 at high prices, catering to the upper end of hunters. Then .. when these sales drop off, start lowering prices. And dont forget to advertise on your trade forum - your primary customers are usually there auctioning their hunting spoils.
Have fun

oh believe me, publicity wasnt my problem..... heh... I just couldnt quite justify charging that much more for droids..... but maybe i'll up the price a little bit so i dont sell out in 2 hours like I did this time..... I guess my 44.5 crafting stations are pricy because they're unique..... why should these be so different

Exactly. Sure the markup on the thing may seem outragous, but compare the amount of credits a top notch DE makes a day, with the number of credits a top notch weaponsmith or top notch armorsmith make....no comparison. We sell in much lower volumes, therefore we need to have much higher markups. Don't sell yourself short because you don't think its justified, squeeze every dime you can get out of those things!

I worked on this for 4 hours last night, hand crafting these things using Ysomoki, Ipocope, and 939 Inert gas, with perfect tools, +10 Droid assembly, at a perfect FR station, in a Research Center City. I've talked to several of the top crafters on our server too and they all agree that the exceptional success doesn't exist. I don't see how it would be possible to otherwise get a 119 droid though, how many experimentation points did you use per experiment? All of them? just a few at a time? I'm trying to duplicate this so I can get some screenshots of it happening, I need to know your exact process if its not too much trouble.
I do have +20 to droid experimentation, and I put all available points into the effectiveness line for the first experimentation. it was after that, that i got the rest of the full bar to experiment it all the way.... well the next step filled it out to 99% and i believe i had 3 points leftover to put into durability.
bespin port increases the success roll on your experimentation attempt (one attempt per drink), but i was not using that, or cake at the time.
edit: 4 hours probably isnt enough.... i've been trying to do this for weeks

I imagine it did take a long time, you should really, really, really charge more for these droids. If I'm not getting rich off of them, I'll really feel better if at least SOMEONE does!

Hi everyone,
we are not talking about having one of these special crafting events every few hours of hand crafting. We are talking about WEEKS. So it seems to be a chance of significantly less than 1 %.
And even if you DO hand craft for that long, its only a question of LUCK, not SKILL. Many of you would have the skill for it .. but did not had luck on their sideso far !
Just remember to save it as a manufac schematic !
Have fun

Don't be under the mindset that you are "marking up" the droids. Think that you are finally able to charge whatyour droids are really worth. Look at the markups on Armor and Weapons.
We all know we sell stuff for less then we should, because if we didn't it wouldn't sell at all. Finally you have something worth selling, that people will really want.
