How much does +20 droid experimentation cost you?Because 1) I need to save up for that and 2) you need to reflect that in your pricing too.

I do have +20 to droid experimentation, and I put all available points into the effectiveness line for the first experimentation. it was after that, that i got the rest of the full bar to experiment it all the way.... well the next step filled it out to 99% and i believe i had 3 points leftover to put into durability.

i bought that up slowly... i've already made my money back on that... Never paid more than 200k a point, and that was for the big ones..... smaller went for as little as 5k

Essentially make yourself a suit from +1 and +2 tapes for diddly ... getting 11 Experimentation Points. You get them from treasure map chests, Locked Containers, various scrap heaps in dungeons etc.
INEVER needed more than 11 for anything.
And if you have great buddies, sometimes you get a present (in my case +10 boots) and suddently have 12 Ex Points. Its nice, but not necessary. And I am one of the DEs on Naritus that routinely craft the best quality. So DONT spend millions on a suit .. you wont need it. This is not like being a doctor/chef/WS/AS where you have multiple lines to experiment on ... as a DE you usually have only one that matters and all others are unimportant.
Have fun

yea... the only places where two lines make a difference are in certain "droid sitm" components, and the droid stims themselves.... oh and survey droids. I think thats all...

Grats! This is a most enjoyable profession.
May the BE gods smile upon you when you sample Mutant Rancors.
