Once you get to jedi you get to say whatever faction your are with. you do not "get set to rebel faction".
So no you will not loos any of your skills.

It is not until knight levels that you have to be a specific faction, so as longas you stay a padawan you can be whatever faction you want

About to start my first 'run' of brandy but have a bit of a thought.
If a Cask requires two identical trim then surely I can only make 20 crates of identical Casks meaning only 20 crates in a run of brandy?
Or am I getting it wrong?
Sorry for the newb question, but I am a noob to crafting such as this, only other crafting profession Ive done was BE and that was about 9 months ago!

You are correct on 20 crates but its actually not because of the casks.
Containers(small glass, large glass, cask) do not need to be identical. You can mix and match factory runs in a schematic.
Alcohol is 2 per brandy so this actually limits you to 20 crate maximum in a factory run.
So for those drinks that only require 1 alcohol or no components, to create a 40 crate run, you just place 40 crate of casks in the hopper. The serial number on the casks is meaningless. The serial number on ALL other components(chef made or BE) DOES matter and hence why a 20 crate limit is on a run of Brandy.

Also just doing some calculations, 150 gemstone per cask, so for one crate is that 150x25 = 3750 per crate of 25
So for a run of 20 casks ill be looking at 75k gemstone?
Seems kinda high, or is this why Brandy costs a lot more than other foods/drinks?
Well it is high for chef items, but compared to the 1000 gemstone needed for a Gungan head statue, maybe not so much. ![]()
On the plus side, you can use any quality gemstone in casks, so you can either pick up a large stack from a resource vendor at 2-3 cpu, or just plop a heavy mineral harvester or twoon some convenient high concentration. I check around my shop for crystalline concentrations in the 70-80, one seems to show up every few weeks. I pick up 1-200k per shift, which keeps costs down a bit.

Hay
I started my first ever crafter a shipwright today and was playing with the coloured text on crafted items. \#FF0000\ should give me red right? well no coloured text comes out after the craft at all. Using the email I have got the coloured text to work so I now know I am using thecorrect command, still wont work during crafting however. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I am doing something wrong or maybe this has stopped working since one of the recent pubs?
Thx in advance

The only objects I've been able to get this to work on are backpacks when you rename them. All other objects' names just appear in white. I've just recently started playing with HTML codes in-game so I don't know if this has always been the case or not.

This hasn't always been the case, a long long time ago in a galaxy far away you used to be able to color the names of all items when crafting but it was changed because it took your attention away from the premium auctions on the bazaar (like we notice them anyway), it basically made the premium auctions skill redundantand it was quite confusing with loads of different colors on them, there was probably many other reasons but that's the one that comes to mind.
I didn't actually know you could still color backpacks, guess you learn something new every day
