There are links, but I can explain it to you here in less time than it would take me to actually dig one of those posts up.
When you're changing the name of a building you have to enter a color code right before the building's name. The color code format is \#RRGGBB where R = red, G = Green, and B = Blue. The values you can enter for each variable are 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E, and F. Zero is the the absence of that particular color and F is the strongest concentration of that color.
Example: \#00FF00 yields pure green text.
After you've entered your color code just enter your sign's text as you normally would.
Example: \#FF0000Shop Sign = Shop Sign
The followinglink will give you lots of ideas for color codes.
Also, if you want to create multiple lines within your shop title you need to copy and paste from the in-game notepad or a wordprocessor. I usually just use wordpad because it gives you the option of centering your text as well.

Links are fairly easy to do, there's only one trick to it. Link format is:
<A HREF=http://your.web.address.here>Your Link Name Here</A>
The "trick" is that you have to click on the Edit As HTML button that appears to the lower right of your message window and then enter the above coding. Once that's done you cannot preview your post, check your spelling or return to the graphical editor. The only thing you can do is submit your post. Doing anything else will mess up your coding and your link will not work. Similarly, if you edit a post that contains a link you must redo the link before submitting the post or the editting of the post will have messed up your coding as well.

I don't know if you can actually color backpacks when crafting them as I haven't done a load of backpacks for awhile. However, you can definitely still change the colors when renaming them. I changed my backpack'scolor just last night.

Do higher level BE pets appear as larger?
I remember way back when I saw a newb a guy showed me a fambaa about 3 or 4 times larger than a normal one.
Never seen one that big since.
