Thread: Is it worth it?

For those of you who have worked and ground and unlocked your FSCS, you've begun to play your Jedi and been hounded by anyone who sees your lightsaber flash... is it still worth it? All the trouble you went through to unlock it, and all the trouble it brings you once you play it? I mean, are they cool enough to warrant all the stuff you went through, fun enough justify it?

I know this is an opinion issue. I want to hear just that, your opinion. I want to judge by yours if I feel that I would be satisfied.

Note - While I want to play a Jedi, I am perfectly happy playing non-force using characters... so I mean, Jedi or no, I'm going to keep on playing.

Also, are Jedi able to be other things as well? Is there just a new Jedi profession in addition to all the rest for that character?

It's only worth it, if you truly want it. I see a lot of people whine about mastering professions and say "I'm gonna quit"which is the type of people I wouldn't recommend trying it.

It's not easy opening your fscs, and neither is being jedi. If you like a challenge, go for it

Jedi cannot be other things, you start out as a Jedi Initiate and have 0/250 points available. Regular trainers won't speak to you the same, and neither will rebel recruiters

Well, I was wondering...since I will be spending so much time killing huurtons (booooring) is it worth mastering Rifleman? Is pvp/pve good with em?

I have only been a Master for a few days now, but I will have to say that the time it took me has been well worth it thus far. The grind is a long one, but once you reach Master it is a whole different world.

1. Dantooine -do voritor dasher missions each kill gives 4k+ rifle exp....each lair as 6 voritors...pluss you get 4k rifle exp for the lair.....use concealshot =)

2. Lok - Droideka Dungeon/Cave (near the vulcano) fully packed wif droideka's and IG assassin droids... droideka's give 4.6k rifle exp and IG assassin droids give 1-2k rifle exp..

now...all ya need is concealment 1...a rifle....multiple factory crates of powerups and muon gold =) i get more rifle exp from a voritor and droidekathen i get from a giant dune kimogila... good hunting =)

Got my master the other day and it was well worth it.

I was soloing large rebel bases, tusken, and everytihng else that got in my way. I went around and looked for everything I could solo. Could not find a thing that I could not kill.

The banths the the funniest though. I take a shot at 1 to aggro the whole group, then i'll do flushing2 or strafe2 and watch the whole group hit the ground in 1 shot. So easy to get wooly hide.

PvP is nice too. You do a mass amount of dmg in such a little amount of time. Still have to watch out for that TKA. If you get them froma distance, your fine. Up close is still a killer, duh.

I just got my X-mas present holo (master Pike), about to grind my life away and get more holos, but is Jedi really worth grinding your life away? And 2 other questions I had were:

1. How do Jedi get trained?

2. Ho many holos are required?

1) Jedi can train via PC training like any other prof, but the NPC trainers are just any of the regular trainers now.

2) Usually 4. I personally had 3 give me professions to master, then the 4th was silent. My friend had 4 give him professions, then a 5th was silent.(Most popular theory 4+1).

As for the "Is it worth it?" question, I can not comment, however a quick search will bring up some posts related to this. However, it's all relative to how you play it and how you view it. There are a few game breaking bugs/problems, but it's a matter of personal opinon when you come down to it.

Good luck and may the force be with you.

I am an aspiring commando, at least soon-to-be. And I was wandering if that ranged mitagation is worth the ride to master? I hate dabblers as mucha s the next guy but in truth FTs are all taht Really work. So my question is what skills to take to the top and which ones to not.

Thank You,
