yay, two people who understood exactly what I meant, zilok I agree completely with what you said although it is sad, it is the truth, and bioshock2, that's kinda what I was afraid of with this idea. Why do programs always hafta get in the way of all the fun

Well, thinking about it some more, I think probably the easiest thing to do would be to just make the sabre "disappear" when it's not lit up. Sort of like imagining that it's hanging from a belt instead of in-hand.
Then if the attack came, the sabre would still technically be "equipped" and would come into action immediately, but everyone else wouldn't be complaining about seeing a jedi with sabre in-hand.
Of course, there is a bug that already allows some people to see you how you were a while ago - i.e., sabre equipped, robe on, title up - even though you have changed clothes and weapons and title since...
So my idea would be useless anyway if that bug hit you.
Unfortunately, there really are very few "quick and easy" fixes on a system as complex as this one.

As I have been grinding my Jedi and slowly working up the boxes for the template I want I am completely worried (as far as I can be in a game
) that future changes to each skill tree will cause many current templates to be obsolete. I mean if I am going for Master Enhancer because I want Force Run 3 I want to be assured that it will not change.
Granted that I could always drop the skills I don't want and regrind to what I do want, it's just a complete waste of time because more then likely if I want to change my template 6 months down the road I'll probably be sitting at -5,000,000 exp.
So my thought (make sure you read the whole thing before going No f'n way) would be to add a /restartConversion BUT make it so it's only able to be used ONCE A MONTH. I'm just feeling that having us re-grind because they (sony) made changes is just wrong, and making it only allowed to be used once a month will make it so you can't just switch your template to what you are trying to accomplish for that hour.
Anyway it was just an idea

We all know master powers are rather borked. So i was thinking a way to implement it, as i feel a jedi without some kind off force display is silly.
If wewhere to remove the power tree. And instead upon knight get to choose 2 skills off any force power, but at a basic lvl so u could like choose from say lightning, KD, push and animal scare, but they have branches leadfrom them to other skills. .And 1 improvement skill
and after a certain mastery off the chooosen skill, you get to pick things like lightning cone, area kd.
And to a point u can learn choke and weaken. And these skills gain power as u progress.
And on the improvement tree, u could either pick things like heal, dmg, speed, defence etc etc, they also improve intime.
But a light jedi cloud not take the dmg improvement/or iatleast it should have a lower effect than if a dark jedi choose it. etc etc
Just an idea

whats the point of being a smuggler if you can smuggle ? dodgeing the imps / rebs / jabba goons etc
this proberly been brought up times before but maybe after jtl smugglers could have the power to transport players and things in their group to other planets without the need of a sp ? and maybe they wouldent have to planet jump to get to the place they wanted to go ( smuggling routes)
ie- u are on naboo u wanted to go to dant u could skip haveing to go tocorillia
think this be cool if it worked, and in jtlyou could have a battle or something if you do something wrongon the way and if u die all the ppl u are transporting would die and have to clone back on the planet u set off from lol (maybe not that last part )

For some reason over the past 2 days ive been asked to make like 6 schemadics. when i asked what and how much i priced it accordingly. 1.2 mil for a full run of BSN's and 1.4 mil for a full run of IN's
all they do is laugh and so do i.
now here is my question, can i say "yes ill make ur schemadic" get all his resources, make the schemadic and place them all on the trade iventory. just laugh at him and run away?? i mean will i get banned or something if i just run away with a full run supply of resources?? im tired of saying no. and i think they need a better way of understanding that we will not sell schemadics.....or at least i wont.
yah thats griefing, he trusted you with those resources and you abused it. people get perma banned for stuff like that (this happened in cases where people have cleaned out entire houses).
just tell them that you charge for your service (I used to charge 100k below my normal selling rate) and if they call ya a nubbin, just tell him that sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you. At this point, put a big sword in your hand and challenge him to a duel.
...
just make sure you can actually USE the sword ![]()

I just say no, then /addignore <name>
I'm slowlyworkingalong the lines ofDarwin's theory of evolution, ignoring all lower forms of Chef, so I can only deal with the reasonable ones.
When they make me a schematic for 20k, I'll make them one. (Actually they...don't...need to. I turned my alt into a Chef so I could get a piece of their action. Never use Chef skills though, too busy making stuff for Tailors. Higher margins, and there's less hassle.)

normally I would agree, but at the time when I was asked I was running two factories too death with a backlog of orders, frankly it seemed like easy money because at the way the queue was going, he could get additives in 3-4 days, whereas this way he has them in 24 hours. I suppose it works on the situation. If you're up to your neck in work, then do it - might as well, else refer him to your waiting list

I am a Master Tailor and have a vendor, however, I still like to add the personal touch by working directly with the client (much like an Image Designer). Most people don't know a pair of Dress Pants from Cargo pockets. Wouldn't it be nice to have a designer window like Image Designers have, with pictures of the clothing and colour palettes? This way, you could basicallytailor design the client. Don't know how practical this would be to implement. As the subject says, it's just an idea. =)

Definatly, having the ability for the person to see themselves in the clothes and the colours would be superb and save wasted materials as you try and get it just right.

The problem is that if you give complete access to what the palettes are, what the clothes possibilities are, etc. then we basically become walking tailor terminals. Part of what makes tailoring fun and challenging is learing to make what the client wants without lots of remakes simply by talking to them.
