Thread: SKILL POINTS
i just hope that yes you can get one pilot profession outside the normal 250 skill points.
buti want to be able to spend some of the 250 skill point on getting a second pilot profession
not reb/imp that is just silly
but a rebel pilot and neutral pilot?
yeah i wanna fly X-Wings for the alliance but i also want to smuggle independantly in my YT-1300
you need to be able to be faction + neutral
otherwise I'll be pissed ![]()
I mean this in a good way, it's not a flame. I also appreciate it knowing that if I make some kind of a mistake, it will be corrected almost immediately.
/agree.

Most logical is that they keep 250 terrestrial points, and include shipwright into this line as it's just a crafting profession like the others and everyone will be able to go into 1 of the 3 pilot branches (as they most likely give the same bonuses anyways).
Only potential problem : what if you are neutral when starting to fly and then become imperial ? (I'm assuming rebels are automatically rebel pilots, and imps imperial tree) If the bonuses are the same, then you could just be swapped into the other trees (if the quests are of identical toughness to get to the same level ofc).

Then what's the incentive for anyone to go neutral pilot? It'd be like a wasted profession. And what sort of Imperial would want Hutt fighters or even a YT-1300 or something?

Not everyone is a member of the Alliance or Empire.
The main reason for allowing Neutral ships for Alliance and Empire members has to do with discussions on PvP. If therewas non-consentual PvP between Imperials and Alliance members, and if Neutral ships were consentual PvP only then having a Neutral ships would allow you to not be involved in PvP.
Later,

And with seperate skill points, I can have my second account (Merchant/Politican/Shipwrite-to-be) be a Nuetral Pilot!
