Ok, I recently got Jedi, and made a double bladed saber. Then I went out and fought some huurtons just for the hell of it. They used posture change down, and I was on my knees, but I could still fight. Can every Jedi do this? and is it just with double bladed sabers? I had a friend use posture down on me again andmy Jedi continued to hit him even though I was on his knees. Is this a bug or what?

ok i was reading the top issues thread and didnt want to ask there so the thread didnt get off topic but i wanted to know how many smiths sell sliced weapons. i have been a weaponsmith for ever now and i have never ever sold a sliced weapon on my vendors. i still do extremly well in sales daily, although nowhere near what i used to but that is due to server population decline.
im just curious as to how many of you sell presliced weapons and how many think this is vital to your sales. becuase to me i dont think it was ever needed. i know i woudl be stuck with alot of weapons that would never ever sell so instead of dealing with that i just never sliced them.
i dont know maybe im just lucky with the server i play on that a weaponsmith selling presliced weapons is not the norm.

I don't sell sliced weapons either. As a WS I feel it is my place to make the weapons. If someone wants to buy them then slice them and resell them, my vendor is waiting. lol I focus on the weapons, I don't have the skill points to build them, sell them, AND slice them. At least that is my look at it.
As far as being nessecary, I don't believe so.Most low level people are fine with a well made presliced weapon. Higher level people usually know a smuggler or 2 to contact and get slices.

For myself, selling sliced weapons is great.
Depending on the type and percentage of the slice, I can sell a weapon for many times what I would have sold it unsliced for. Selling sliced weapons allows the customer to get the type of slice they want, and I don't have to craft weapons as frequently, as I'm not selling multiples of the same weapon to someone who's hunting for a particular slice.
It's true that you do get the occasional bad slice, but I don't get too many of those, and the sales of the good slices more than offset any losses from not selling those that receive a low slice.
As a bonus, my combat alt always has some nice 35% damage sliced gear.

I generally don't sell presliced and my sales are fairly brisk as it is.
It keeps good weapons out of the hands of a new player and it just seems like alot of extra work for me.

I started selling sliced weapons mostly because the weaps vendor in the mall next to me wasnt,so instead of competing directly I offered something else, seems to work great.
I f some one wants an unsliced gun they go next door, If they like presliced they come to my vendor.
Both of us do a very brisk buissines

You make double the money using half of the resources selling pre-sliced weapons, just put your crappy speed sliced stuff on the bazaar or on a vendor for 1-3k for each weapon.

Nope, not effective considering the buffs people have and the xp you need to get that whole tree....
That whole jedi skill class is borked.

After the combat balance, weaken will probably be worth something. For now, no, not in pvp OR pve, as I understand it.

Is ranged and melee defense good for a jedi? Will the extra 20 for each make any difference? I heard jedi block 95% of the ranged attacks anyways.
Thanks
