Well from all I have read on the Jedi boards, any and all defenses you can get will definitely help you. There may be a cap to how much you can have total, and your total is dependent not only on the Ranged and Melee defenses you can pick up here but also on the professions you have. Obviously abrawler typesand ranged professions will already have greater defenses in these area then say artisans, entertainers, medics and even scouts. Thus check the boards and see if there are any caps on how much you can have in melee and ranged defenses. If you max out then I would suggest you not get more then your max level, otherwise you will be putting a lot of energy and FS points into areas that will not help you.

I started on the melee speed quests the other day and did the first 3 patrols (it wouldnt let me do anymore till the following day)...... now there has been a phase shift, can I still finish the melee speed quest? or do i have to wait 9 weeks to be able to do it again?

Dude that sucks.....yep you lost your chance. You waited to long to do the quest. I feel for ya. Becuase you have to wait 9 weeks to do it again. Bummer

if the devs were to make servers that could have jedi on them and others that could not, would it quell some of the crying and moaning

No because unless they started a new Non jedi only server no one would want to move and it would make the patching process a pain.

When on your vendor i thought if u put a pack with 50 items on it that it counted as 1 item. Today i logged in and found out that my vendor will not except any new item saying its over its limit. Further investigation revealed that my packs of 50 items now count as 51 items. Just wondering if thats the way it always was or did the devs put in some new stuff????

Should be counting at [Items Inside] if they are full and 1 if they are empty. You shouldn't be being charged for 51 items as they are supposed to back out the pack itself from that count.
This was implemented when they put in the vendor item limit code (and tweaked a couple of days later)

Hi,
I have been trying to buy a large razor cat as a pet & not bothered about ham etc. I was looking at no higher than level 14. When i buy one i ask is it large they say yes i tame it and its tiny.
Is not possible to create a large cat at such a low level?

Pets are always babies when tamed, whether tamed from a deed or the wild. In your datapad you'll see its"Difficulty Level1(14)". It will grow a few CLs everytime the server is reset and you'll see it slowly gets bigger until it just says "Difficulty Level 14", then its full grown
