I read the Grinding guide (like a good boy) and one question pops in my mind: Why Ribbed Shirt for Feild Wear line, and Cartridge belts for the rest? The obvious amswer is that you get more Feild Wear XP from Ribbed shirts, but when I was grinding this line I didn't notice it accruing faster than the other lines, although I wasn't really watching that closely.
Is that it?
Thanks in advance, and great Profesion Board in comparrison to the rest BTW.

Yeah... I come to the tailoring boards when the chilastra boards are filled with nothing but spam and idiotic posts. At least when you come here, you usually get a decent and intelligent conversation.

You get a set amount of exp per Ribbed Shirt you use, doesnt matter which line of exp you grind through first on that account.
However the Cartridge Belts in field wear 4 are the best exp tailor item that is easy to get resources for, so that is why people go through field wear first, then continue on cartridge belts.

If I remember correctly it is because they both have relatively high xp per unit of resource. Combine with that that neither of them requires any named resources or factory parts, it makes them the most efficient grinding items.

Is the Lp still our bread and butter gun when grinding exp - it was 6 months ago, and are the huurtons and pikets still the best place to hunt for rapid exp?

The best strategy I've found when grinding Commando is to use the LP with /healthshot1 (or /healtshot2 if you have novice pistoleer) until you hit at least 0020 Commando...when you hit 0030 Commando you'll want to pretty much fully use the FT for the rest of the grind...

I've looked at Allakhazam etc but I can't find out what the total Med Use points are when you reach Master Medic.
Sorry if this sounds like a daft question, but because I amMaster CM (and my alt is Master Doc) I don't know if the elite professions are altering my "med use" level or not (currently says it is 50).
If someone could advise I'd be very grateful

Master medic has +50, master doc has +100. Combart medic does not add to med use, it has combat medicine use. So, a master CM with no doctor skillshas +50 med use (from master medic), +100 combat med use.

Found that the flamethrower is decent even at 0010, if you remember to aim alot, have a tank, and can accept getting a few misses in a row
