but, i'm not saying i agree with the CU, we have on TC. i'm just saying in NO WAY is space worse off than the ground game. and they arent gonna fix space, until the ground game is taken care of, so cool your heels. no need in getting worked up. they'll get around to space in time.
your right, the loot system sucks. but not enough to not fix the ground game first.

BUt for the WS.... I suggested back a while ago inqhen JTL started the following...
Allow MWS to build REable parts... ie... Make it so 1/2 rounded down are loot parts. But let the rest me Player made. THis would allow a MWS that has some parts with 1 or 2 good stats to make with his Experimention other parts to match with the stats he needs. THen RE the bunch of them and let them use 1/2 their Exeromentaion points on the final piece also...
Anyone else notice anything?
As for the preponderance of boosters and armor, two of the most useless looted components around.. well, I can't really say. It's probably intentional, a way to keep loot amounts higher (and thus keeping your bankroll up as well) without overinflating the amount of level 10 engines and weapons and such dropping. However, with a low loot rate and what, 8 categories of components to divide your drops between, it isn't that surprising that it takes so long to find quality stuff.
Not to say the system is ideal, by any means, just trying to break down why higher levels of loot--particularly the uber stuff--can take so long to find.
