i thought the insults etc were relegated to the galaxy forums, but oh well.

in case you can catch this message through all the other nasty ones, there are programs you can download to "keep alive" your connection, as someone earlier mentioned, it fools your isp into thinking you're still doing stuff at your pc when you're really off watching the SW DVD's. when i was dialup i would do this kind of thing overnight.. after a couple of nights you should be all done (barring any other problems which may arise).

remember, you're never the only one having whatever problem, and if you look, you'll find others having exactly the same problem.(computer, game, etc.)on the web, there is usually a solution, too. finding it is the tricky part the forums here can actually be pretty good, because the bigger the problem, the more people are talking about it and the more likely you'll see it on the first couple of pages listed.

FLUCKA! you put it best, i mean i know nothing aboutmy internetother than what the people that installed it told me. and for all you that wonder why people play with crappy connections, its because this is the kind of game that no matter how bad the lag and downloading gets, you keep going cause you enjoy the game.

and that was the second time i got crabs...

I think adding a simple "resume download" feature would take care of a lot of the problems of lost connections during the download so people dont have to start everytime from scratch.
