1. Do you think Jedi should be like every other profession in terms of numbers?

Not even close. Jedi should be capped at 1 to 2% of the total population. At that time Jedi should be unlockable. The active Jedi should be monitored at after inactivity oftwo weekstheir count should be removed from the server and more should be accepted in. If server population rises and fluxes, so should the Jedi count.
2. Do you think jedi should suffer no penalties upon death like every other profession?

I like the current system. Skill loss at certain levels of death is a very good middle ground to both permadeath and no penalty. HOWEVER, if a player is willing to hunt a Jedi, knowing they are making them lose skills, the hunting player should also be slated with a risk that is = to the reward.
3. Do you think jedi deserve something special because of the "grind" they had to go through to get there?

Jedi deserver something special because THEY ARE JEDI. Lets not get the base facts confused here. This is STAR WARS. Thats right... based on a movie. In the movie the main focus... in fact the only thing that seperated it from every other Space Sci-Fi was the Jedi. It is the calling card of Star Wars and its unique identifier. Yet the players want to ignore that fact, and instead have a complete balance of every profession. It isnt supposed to be that way. If you want that play a game that isnt Star Wars and a game that doesnt ahve a pre-defined class that is better than the rest. Jedi where better than the rest of the population in the galaxy.
The problem is that the Bounty Hunters have taken it upon themselves to be the self-proclaimed "cleaners of the game". The devs screwed up and have used the BH like the puppets they are to do nothing more than grief the hell outa Jedi until they reach the point of frustration and quit... now ask yourself, what kind of person requires ruining someone elses play and fun in order to enjoy themselves?
A player bounty is fine. There is no problem with that. I have always been for player bounties, not just Jedi but all players. The problem isnt the player bounties. The problem is the fact that the Bounty Hunters are intentionally out there trying to make players lose litterally months of play time... it is vile, it is evil and it is griefing. There needs to be a system in place to control the Jedi, but this certainly isnt the right one.
For you to come and blame the Jedi for playing the game he pays for... or the fact that he did unlock, is in excusable. There is no justification for griefing someone. A jedi being hard doesnt mean they should be griefed and shouldnt be able to play the game because of a piss poor designed system... and your statement was like telling a woman who just got her ass kicked by her husband that she deserved it for not having dinner made when he got home... The maturity level of the community was tested in the past 48 hours and it failed... it failed miserably.

I took my 1st BH missions last night and it was a blast. I wont name names, but I killed my mark (who was a low level Jedi I think) and we had a nice chat afterwards, talking about our strategy and gear. He congratulated me and I had a great feeling about the system. This morning, I got on the boards and read about all the greifing going on and I'm disgusted.
So until the system gets fixed, /salute to all of the cool BH's and Jedi for not being a$$es. I'll see you in a few weeks when we can do this right.
100% behind you on this one mate. I posted the same yesterday, and hope the SOE can fix this, and we can have the real BH vs. Jedi as it should be. I personally will punch in a CSR ticket for everytime I see the griefing, and hope it does lead to some repurcussions. Same w/ rooftop grinding. This should be played fairly, and I hope it will be soon. I will still hunt Jedi, but I will not be grouped - BHs can be pals - but I work alone when going after a mark.
And in almost every instance of clone camping it has been fixed or become bannable. You ask what makes jedi so special they should not be part of clone camping? Try losing all their skills along with months of progress. Losing them legitimately is one thing, losing them to griefers clone camping is another.

Hey, yesterday in Theed this MBH was spamming his wares every 15 seconds. When I logged in my screen was filled with this spam and it caused my video card to lock up. Can I get an official apology from you for that please?
Oh, and a few months ago I was griefed by this BH... he was only a novice BH but he griefed me. Can I get an apology from you on behalf of all BH's for that as well?

There's this awesome command in the game called /addignore. As for locking your video card, doubt chat spam itself did that. Maybe try upgrading.

Griefed how? Report him. Do you do anything on these forums besides troll? I'm sure the griefing you think you had from a novice BH is nothing compared to that faced by those who get clone camped.
