Other than that I dont know if Jedi should have anything else as Obiwan didnt really seem to have any additional powers in his encounter with Jango Fett in the asteroid field as seen in Ep II.

So the Enhanced Reflexes - Vehicle Control Tree will have no influence on JTLS? Is it only good for speeders??
Yes. Speed mods go towards increasing rate of accelrationand handling mods go towards tightening your turning radius on GROUND vehicles. Your ability to mindlessly grind against the same mobs 10 hours a day aren't going to save you in Space. You'll have to actually put some effort foward and do some work to be good. Pick up a sidewinder or wingman and X-wing vs. TIE and start practicing now.

Since jedi are supposed to have great reflexes and able to see things before they happen, perhaps there should be a system in place that gives them a sort of "Jedi Sense." By putting a half a second delay or a full second delay on firing in the start of a fight (lasers need to charge or something),a jedi starpilot could get a warning of an incoming attack. With this a jedi could potentially save themsleves from a quickflame out by a volley of laserfire via an ambush or surprise attack. It may give a skilled Jedi pilot the moment they'd need to evade the attack or they could get caught unaware anyway. Having a system like this could sparea jedi from a quick flame out but wouldnt neccessarily be an advantage over a prolonged dogfight.
Other than that I dont know if Jedi should have anything else as Obiwan didnt really seem to have any additional powers in his encounter with Jango Fett in the asteroid field as seen in Ep II.

No "special" abilities will be added. Since it is going to be a twitchy action game, RPG-skill based enhancements won't come into play. There has been some discussion on what might be possible after the initial release of JTL, but anything like that is a long, long way off...

I am very glad to hear that. Any other thing would have been a bad decision.
I have also a suggestion to keep players playing standart characters:
Suggestion:
Let the jedi death-penaltys (xp loss) also apply in space. This way you would give every players a great reason to keep playing a standart character and we will see also other players than jedis.
my gawd man! I've played this game i bet more hours then any Jedi.....sure ive spent it HAVING FUN instead of mindless grinding....I've accepted the fact Jedi will rule the ground, but to give them bonuses in the air...
that just aint right.

I'm sorry if I am being rude but I just can't get over how long everything is taking and how seemingly inept the developer team is (even though it truth they can't be THAT inept.... right??? Well, I hope not).
Anyhow, Jedi extra abilities for piloting is a no brainer. They should be there. They should not be something "A long way off". If Jedi abilities aren't there then how could you consider JTL finished and complete?!
What part of TWITCH GAME didn't you understand. Must have been the TWITCH part. JTL is TWITCH based. Ships will be customizable and player crafted, but, piloting abilities will be based on the player's ability not your character's ability. This has been said so many times by the devs I'm starting to hear it in my sleep. Why don't you understand that.
Some Jedi were outstanding pilots (Luke, Anakin/Vader) some where awful pilots (Obi-Wan). JTL is a totally different type of game compared to SWG and it should stay that way. If the idea of being successful is based on hand-eye coordination as opposed to how many hours you can play in a day grinding out skill boxes scares you then stick with the ground game. Don't try to ruin the experience for those of us that wish to just play a game based on player skill. Jedi are already ruining the game enough as it is. Lets not have them infrect space before it even takes off as well.
