Privateers get NO multiplayer ships until the YT-1300, we are unable to PvP outside of Deep Space unlike you imperials, and maybe it's just a little easy for you, I was stuck on a Tier 3 mission for Jabba for at least 4 days, trying it non-stop every time I got on. It may be easy as hell for you, but for some of us it's tough, so don't expect them to change anything because you're having too easy of a time with it.

Oh, don't git yer dander up.

I have no finished Privateer and NEVER DIED 1 single time. Privateer was a joke compared to imperial. I dont think there was one single time I ever feared for my life in any mission. Way to easy for privateer and it was basically like I just went thru and ended all of there miserable lives.

So rather than offer any type of counter point to the MULTIPLE reasons offered by myself and otherswhy you would find the privateer branch you are currently doing so easy, you post this? It's rather obvious now that you are just trolling to make others think you're somehow "special" for doing the Imp missions that are "tougher" than any other. Funny thing is that you talk about being a skilled pilot earlier in this thread (adjusting your throttle and such)but then have another thread where you complain that A-Wings are "too annoying" because they take too long to kill. That's funny I've slaughtered them pretty fast the few times they've aggroed on me in Kessel (in all fairness it was their fault for flying through my blasters as I took out ties). Hm... I think that as soon as I finish off my master mission on my main character, thatit's time to dust off my Imp on Corbantis. Then I can fly the Imperial missions (I willmake sure toask around and find out which is hardest so I make sure I take that squadron's)and claim Imperial is easy vs Privateer being hard, simply because I know more about what I'm doing my second time through a piloting profession. I'm done posting in this thread myself, but you might watch for a thread titled "Imperial vs Privateer - Extremely easy to Extremely Hard!". Then again, probably not, simply because that's not the kind of threads I make.

Trolling? Get off your high horse NOOB. I was clearly making a point about this which you CLEARLY do not understand. GO away

*kicks you out of the ship*

You never wrote which Privateer you made? Smuggler's on Tatooine? Or another one?

I made Jabba's missions sole 'till the last, but that one i gave up frustrated because of a bug....after trying it 3x. With a wingman it was then doable at last.

But easy? Nope. Ok for 2 players, yep. >FORCED GROUPING<

Read her original post. She said: "I am current doing the RSF Campaign on Privateer.."

That is by no means a handle on the Privateer profession.

RSF is too easy. Try SA. You'll see that we are gimped, too.

Yep I have read over that. Sorry.

Then the guys are right who say: YOU CAN NOT COMPARE the hardest Imp and the easiest Privateer.

Try Smuggler Alliance and then speak again.

I hope you are a friend of Jabba? Because you must do the Jabba Themepark 2/3 too, to get to the Tier 3 Trainer....

Well, I'm now grinding exp to fill up tier 4 boxes on my privateer alt. (CorSec)

I breezed through the tier 3 missions in less than 3 hours, solo.

The most difficult one was the third where a tier 3 gunboat jumps in on top of you with it's escort, yet even this compared to the Storm Squad missions was a cake walk.

It took me 2 days to pass the first Storm Squad tier 3, and another full day of playing to finish the next 2 tier 3's.

I'm still working on the final tier 3 mission. where you have to disable and dock with a tier 4 Nova, and destroy it'sescort. Then kill the same tier 4 Nova, and it's escort again before it hypers. (personally I think this is a bad/bugged mission, after you disable and inspect/dock with it you get a command comm saying we have no further use for it, destroy it. Then you get another command comm saying you have to run it down and kill it before it jumps, and the exact same tier 4 Nova spawns with a whole new tier 4 escort.)

The CorSec tier 3 missions all involved 2 or 3 tier 3 fighters at a time for the most part, with one tier 3 gunboat.

The Storm Squad tier 3's involve wave after wave after wave of tier 4's with a handfull of tier 5's thrown in for good measure, a tier (3? I don't think it was a 4 anyway) Nova, two tier 4 Nova's, massive amounts of random tier 4 and 5 adds, and a hell of a lot longer missions.

This is all solo, and with different characters (no previously looted "uber" gear)

>my Rebel toon is still tier 2

... get this, my Storm Squad toon has 1 mil exp banked (solely from the first 3 tier 3 missions, no grinding whatsoever) and his TIE interceptor's chassis is down below 1k.

My CorSec toon started grinding for tier 4 withless than200k exp from the tier 3 missions, and having only died once (the first time through when the gunboat was unexpected).

While I can't say much about SA (when I found out I needed to do Jabba's themepark I quit SA and joined CorSec, this is a social alt with no combat skills) I can honestly say

Imperial Storm Squad tier 3 missions are vastly more difficult and time consuming than Privateer CorSec tier 3 missions.

In the SA faction, on one mission, after being pelted by the first leg, the second leg was to disable a Tier 4 Lambda, then escort it. During the escort, I was met with a wave of 3 Aggressors, then a Decimator with 5 accompanying TIE's and 2 Interceptors, then the waves started over with the 3 Aggressors. Grouping the Aggressors, then the Decimator wave into a group, there were a total of 7 groups before the Lambda finally hypered out. Then, after that, there was one more leg of the mission, involving more waves of Tier 4 enemies.

That's the easier of the top missions.

Every mission can be done solo but you need to take advantage of every one of the things that are available to you. I had more then one of my friends having gripes about tie aggressors. I had them send me the full list of their equipment and then I did a custom job on their ship and told them about using droid chips. After that they blow aggressors solo instead of in a 2-3 people team.

Take the time to look at each and every skill you have as well as ships that are at your disposal (you will NOT be able to solo a gunboat in a tie interceptor, that's what tie bombers are for).

Look at every piece of your ship: some loot is good, some is not (ask a shipwright if you're not one yourself).

Look at droid chips: --> you can use chips of other factions<-- (those neutral chips only mean something when combined with Imperial chips).

You can make jumps in a same system to escape without failing or repair at a station any time.

One day a friend finally used an ixiyen ship with the 92.2 engine and a level 2 engine overload imp chip. Her crusing speed is now 1040 and over 1200 with boosters.

... Your obviously not talking about soloing if your talking about the TIE bomber.

It requires an escort, theres no way your going to get a TIE bomber past all those tier 4 and 5 fighters to get anywhere near the tier 4 Nova's solo.

And just to add I have solo'd the Nova's with my interceptor.Just not the second one in mission 4....yet.
And a random gunboat that was next to my jump-in point .... I keep hearing about staying underneath the gunboats so they can't hit you ... this one had 2 turrets on it's belly?

Any way at all, now that I know that SA is the Elite-Privateer, I think it is ok to group the missions out.....

But I also think this "ELITE" trees should get some "ELITE-LOOT"!

Would be cool to have squadron insignia.

The tier 4 CorSec trainer has a little (playing card) pinned to the front of his shirt, why not texture in some squad specific patch or such for the pilot suits/helms/jackets etc.

Perhaps an insignia on your ship noting your squadron afilliation.

Lucky me i picked the hardest privateer faction and the hardest imperial squadron out of pure chance. Whats the hardest rebel one? might as well make it a triple.

Decimators AND agressors onan escortmission. Those lone nova couriers are starting to look pretty good right about now.

Perhaps, but your talking about two different tiers.

The nova's are tier 4, and a tier 3 mission while the Deci's and agressors are a tier 4 mission.
