Wow, those are some awesome screenshots!


I'm very excited to see the new professions and how it all will integrate together...(eg., how will the "twich" elements coincide with the "RP" elements). It seems very ambitious to hit a release this year, but who knows! Can't wait for more info...

Saw in the interview about having a "twitchy" flight system. What does that mean? Will we be able to use flight controllers? (Would kill to use my Sidewinder for space flight).

I just hope the "twitchy" behavior is done better than Planetside. The Client-side collision detection really ruined that game for me.

I know you can't answer questions about the SE yet but I still have a few which you can take into consideration (you can still answer question 1 if u want)

1) when will you be aloud to answer our questions? it sounds like E3 but I just want to be sure.


2) are you ever planning on maikingcapitol class ships available to players? I really hope you consider this some time down the road and heres why:


if we were aloud to purchase capitol class factional ships (such as the star destroyer) in the way that we purchase factional bases. .. this would add an amazing space aspect to the GCW.factional capitol ships would work much like faction bases do now only they would bemovable (in some way or another) and rather then having at-sts and stormies they would have ties (or x-wings depending on the faction of course)


They would still have turrets, however players would have the option to jump in and control these turrets (or they could be controled by the ships AI, it'd be the players choice). to destroy one of these capitol ships players would have to first take out their sheald generators in a massive space battle. then board the damaged ship and take out the main reactor. this would all require a great many players to accomplish.


ok yes I know this is all way over the top and would be hard to do. I'm sorry for that, but my imagination goes wild when I think about the possibilities. I know lag would be a huge issue (with all those PCs flying around and such) But I just had to throw the idea out there


3) will there be space slugs? PLZ PLZ PLZ say yes!


thanks for any answer you can give and I'd like to especially thank you (the dev team) for all the hard work you've put into this game. although you had a bumpy start everything is finally coming together and the SE, ohexcuseme, JTLEonly looks to make it 100 times better.

Uhh...the YT-1300 was a VERY common ship in the Star Wars galaxy...a little outdated during this timeframe, but still very common. Granted, the Millenium Falcon was heavily modified...but the external appearance, at least, wasn't that much so.

Collision was handled just fine in XvT. I don't see why they couldn't implement it in this.

My greatest concer for this game is, will it release with great npc quests such as go into the BIG DESTROYER SHIP THINGY using your ship and try to go to its main reactor and destroy it to blow the ship up, and while your flying through the ship, its an obstacle and if you hit a wall your ship takes damage and can blow up if your wing has been damaged all the way down.


I REALLY HOPE they launch with this stuff and not 4 months after release like they are doing with SWG.



Still I think the DEVS are good people for what they do.
