Just the thread title looks like it should read "BUT I WANTED TO BE FIRST!!!"

I never said I was having trouble..
I never said I wanted to be first..
This just brought back memories of when players were walking around with full suits of Stormtrooper gear 2-3 days after SWG went live.

Shh... your envy is showing.

Anyway, I know a guy that mastered Shipwright in 3 hours.

That is wrong.

3 weeks is nothing.

Actually if you have the 6 - 7 million resources needed it takes half an hour to master shipwright.

Why the HELL am I seeing Master and Ace Pilots after only three weeks since launch!!??
Don't give me this crap about having more time to play! Bull! That's 7 1/2 million points of
experience!

There is something VERY WRONG with this game if someone can Master/Ace a profession
in three weeks. I thought SOE fix that OBVIOUS experience point exploit??

Why do I call it that? How the hell else can someone get 7 1/2 million points in three weeks if
they are not exploiting a flaw in the experience point system!!??

wow maybee if you spent more time learning about the game that your playing instead of screaming exploiters and other bs.... you would understand that for some people perhaps JTLS is not that hard of a game to play.... I personally and a flight sim fanatic but found jtls very very easy.... Yes I mastered within the first week of launch... Am I an Exploiter? Well if you call preperation , knowledge of the system and long time flight sim experiance exploiting then i guess I am an Exploiter...

The simple fact is that even the casual gamer could master a pilot proffession within 3 weeks time easy... Preperation goes a Long way... Kinda indirectly like the ground game... yeah if i went ot master pistoleer with no buffs and used a cdef all the way thru it would take me years... But instead i pick up doc so i can buff and heal myself at will and can log on and start leveling instanly and master pistoleer in3 nightsin my few hours a night online.... so I guess Im an exploiter on the ground right?

Perhaps maybee if you werent spending so much time worrying about what everyone else was doing you'd be a master aswell... really how does alot of people being aces already affect you adversly in anyway? sounds like a jealousy problem....

Tier1 = little xp needed and a mission to level up

Tier2 = 60k xp and a mission

Tier3 = only a mission

Tier4 = 1 mill xp and a mission

Ace Box 3 missions in whole

i got all my needed XP in helping with missions, there is no cheating or exploit, just beeing helpfull and you benefit aswell for beeing it.

You need to get 7½million of XP OR kill the Corvette and it needs a couple of nice friends to help you with that

Im 4-4-3-3 since launch, with 700k xp built up, so, soon to be 4-4-4-3.

I didn't cheat, I didn't play 24/7, I actually took a week off because of Thanksgiving, or I would be master.

I almost agreed with your point but for different reasons.

It's sad the game can "be beaten" in that short of a time frame.

I disagree about your "exploit" accusation.

The reasons, my friend, are threefold.

1) Many of us were already so fully trained in the style of space combat the JtL favors from years of X-Wing, TIE Fighter, XvT and XWA that it really was just a matter of blasting the ever-loving bujezus out of the opposing ships and finding someone to hit the Corvette with.

2) You don't have to earn the final 7.5 million XP for Master. If you complete the Corvette mission, you get an automatic promotion. That being said, it would have only kept me from Master for an extra day or two, since hunting in my Longprobe I can make several million XP between dinner and bedtime.

3) I really like blowing stuff up.

I don't think its something wrong with the game, what more could they possibly do? I blame it on people having way too much free time on their hands lol. I havn't even made it halfway through the pilot tree. Shipwright at the pace I'm going is gonna take me about 3-4 months to master. I'm convinced some people here don't have jobs, or don't go to school. Wheres a good truency officer when you need one??

Shut up man, and play the game, whining and complaining here wont help you to get to ace, just play the game and chill out.
