Wouldn't it be nice if we actually could group up with others from the same faction or other Jedi

and NOT gain visibility?

It's not like they're going to bust you to the opposite faction lol

When you're grouped do you still get Vis even if you're not within 32 meters of a group/npc member?

The people that are saying 8 isnt enough are probably just looking for money, I went out with a group of 8 hunted for about 30 mins and got around 500k xp, evan without the double xp thing i woulda got 250k, thats alot better then what we use to get in 30 mins, and I didnt destroy my armor ( if u got 250k in 30 mins b4 ur armor would be destroied for sure lol )

No

the ppl who are looking for a larger group than 8ppl are not looking for more money.
I have a weekly base raid group (without any base raid toon, with all requirements in squeezed in one toon and then only jedi to fight).

With 5 needed different profession my group is already full with those and some additional fightes.

Every tried to fight a PvE Det.HQ. (pre CU)?

I was MSL and was leading a full group coordinating the whole group via /sys and /groupchat dividing them sometimes in smaller squads for fighting the turrets and the NPCs or to assign tasks (e.g. each slicer gets three bodyguards while the others check keep the other spawns in check) and keeping the whole groupd up to date about the current slicing progress.

Now, when my guild meets to slice bases we suddenly have players how cannot group with me anymore because we are limited to 8ppl.
My usual groupsize was always at least 6 to 10 players if not more for those base raids.

Larger groups are harder to control and you need a dedicated groupleader for this.
Yes,
but larger groups can be A LOT of fun together when you like teamwork and have a dedicated groupleader, a reason why I picked up the SL profession.

Currently not even SL can have larger groups and the SL profession is going the way of the smuggler ... .

My friend and i just started Star Wars after seeing the third movie. We both became BH's and we just finished mastering the proffesion. We are now wondering why we can never get the same Jedi mission...

This might sound like a toatl noob question but as I've the jedi forums and they talk about being ganked by ten BH's, so i was wondering what you do to get the same mission.

Thx.

jedi forums=whiny exaggerators

most that can have a mission at one time is 5, both of you need to get it from the terminals. Might take a little searching, but its not impossible for both of you to grab the same mission.

One question I have for all of you SLs is who do you group with? Guildies, random people? The reason I ask this is either it was poor planning on my part, or just the general view of SL's being pointless by many. I posted 3 times that I was doing hunting. On the Kettemoor boards, my old guild who usually grind for Jedi and my new guild. In the last 2 days, I have had 1 other person the first night who logged fairly quickly, last night I had 2 again who logged fairly quickly. Any thoughts and opinions would be much appreciated.

I'l try to group up whoever is doing base takedowns, or if imps are attacking I'l invite any alliance within range and hope I grab a few overts. Other then that I just group with buds. Grouping with the general population for anything usualy ends up with me being a baby sitter rather then a squad leader.

Until i lately joined a guild, it was friends or random hunting groups. Due to the second, i after some time even got tells if i would like to lead them again. Not of many people, but there were a few.

By now, i'm mostly occupied with my guild, but occasionally i get an order for hide from an AS and then i return to "my" business model... pick up a few newbies in mos eisley (they still have novice scout) and take them for some hunt. We all gather the material,i buy their harvest for 75% of what the customer pays... they earn some good money, i earn even more. And that's while they also make nice XP. This method steadily increases the number of people who are ready to go hunting with me.

Maybe a try in Eisley is needed.
