Does anyone know how this will effect the Shipwright profession. I mean, if everyone who has been playing for 6 months gets one of these, and anyone who hasn't will get one when they reach 6 months... won't that suck the life out of people buying ships? Or is there going to be a time limit on this when you have to have reached your 6 months?
How is this actually going to play out exactly?
LOL, You are assumeing players will want to use it! Odd are it will not be the fastest most powerfull ship there is, even if you do max upgrades.

This is espicially cool, cause beforeEVERYONE woulda been flying around in a yt-1300, but now we chave a second, super cool, option.

Well YES it looks cool and all but with the release date for JTS coming out
LATE NEXT YEAR!!!!
It should be a reward to keep playing the game till JTL comes out.
I got a better idea for a vet reward, FIX THE COMBAT SYSTEM. or better yet make something that we can use now not when you all get your act together over there and release JTL.
I heard there was alot of management changes in SOE, I see with the changes we still have the same stupid ideas.
YEAH we gat a ship but i bet anyone will be able to make the ship and anyone can drive it.
So in the end the only reward we will see is not having to wait for someone to grind up ship building befor we can buy a **edit** and start flying. I just hope theres no poison blasters on ships then maybe pvp may last longer then 2 secs

Dude, go to the main page, click on the pretty ship and read.. It answers all your questions except the ones about your account.

I always imagined Multi-Passenger ships being somewhat rare, now everyone is gonna have one of these space bus things. The only reason anyone is gonna want to use this after one day of having it, is to shuttle nOObs from planet to planet, no one else will want to go in your ship because they will all have one.
Devs, why havent you learned the only reason to own something in this game is if it helps you in combat or is rare and thus gives you "bragging rights". This luxury yacht is gonna suck so badly in combat, and as everyone will have one, people will use it for a day or so then get something else, what a waste.
Lol, are you done? do you need toilet paper now?
Don't just assume that because you are only interested in combat that everyone else is too. This is one smoooooth ship. It will be so cool to own one even if it just sits in the hangar bay and never gets used. I wanna hang fuzzy dice on it and get one of them footie gas pedals.

I am in the same boat as a few people. I have been playing since Day 1 of launch and have help on through all the bugs and changes. I stated a second account but recently I had some trouble with my bank and had to close my accountwhich has stopped my subscrition. i have bought cards but now it wi;ll show my account has been cancelled and i am afraid i will not get the reward for any of this. Please let me know what to expect
Lol, those that were around know that there WAS NO day one. The game wasn't working on release day and no one played. Day 2 it was working somewhat.
Oh and I'm not sure what grace period they assigned to cancels due to bank errors and game cards. Chances are they'll forgive those that had cancels for a day or 2, just a guess though.
Other than that, they said those that play for 6 months continuously will get it when they hit their 6 months date.

I checked with the subscription group and there is a brief grace period. So Game Card users and people with a couple days of problems with accounts should get the veteran reward.
To my knowledge, the only way to get this ship is as a veteran (like you can't get goggles with getting the special edition).

So where are the *real* veteran rewards?
JTL is at least 4-5 months away, even by conservative estimates. So any noob who's been here a month or so (as of now) will get one when JTL launches.
What about those of us who stuck with SWG through game-stopping bugs (anyone remember being "ghosted" and told, "Sorry, wait for reset" by CSR's even after we went "live"?), broken professions, and more faux pas (/citywarn, or the "improved" Theme Park loot that STILL has skill mods that haven't existed since beta, anyone?) than we can count.
It's blatantly obvious that you guys simply are using this as a hook to make sure people who are irritated that the next two publishes have nothing to do with most players from cancelling - but since those of us who have paid you $15 bucks a month for a year now didn't quit in the first place, I am sure you assume you can forget about us because we are a "sure thing".
I'm not impressed by this in the least - nothing special about this ship when people who just bought the game a few weeks ago are going to get it.
I also expected something for those of us who have been subscribing for a year on the "Anniversary" - TH's ancient slide-show that most of us had already seen wasn't quite what I had in mind. I would have rather had an Astromech Friday Feature - at least it would have been relevant.
You guys really need to start thinking about your REAL veteran players - and instead of super-non-commital evasions you need to let us know you value us - and Haden's jumbled letter doesn't count. Would it have killed you to give us a painting or rug?
It just goes to give credibility to those who say as long as we pay our $15 you don't care what we think - I'd like to believe differently, but from the pathetic offerings in the Veteran Rewards and the 1-year anniversary, I'm starting to think they may be right.
