Don't forget this little shop.

If you aren't technically savy, or just don't have the time, these guys will take your grocery list of wants, parts, etc. and build you a comp at almost the same price you would pay building it yourself. Plus, great support

They have built all of our graphics computers in my multimedia shop and we've never turned back.

Aye, newegg is the place to go. Also check out www.anandtech.com for hardware reviews and stuff.

If your building a new pc, don't even consider intel, go with the new athlon 64's

Because my current motherboard only allows 2 slots of memory, I'm taking out my 512 piece and replacing it and my empty slot with 1 gig stick for each slot. On top of that, i'm swapping graphics cards from an overused Geforce4 Mx420 to a Ati Radeon X800(not platinum edition unfortunatly.) You guys think these small upgrades will do the job?

God damn it , are you telling me JTL requires a F***ken super computer to play? Damn it i always had this fear. What exactly does JTL need to run fine becuz ill tell you one thing there is no way i can buy a PC or build my PC. I cant be spending too much on computers im done with that. Damn i knew this was gonna ruin everything.

I hope your being sarcastic.. haha

In all seriousness, JtL will probably require less resources to run then SWG:AED does. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

You are correct as thier arnt that many Static objects to laod into the world Map as well as multipul other factors that are based on the Planets like, sky bacground, then you got Grass animation as well as Tree'S then you got all the Animels and then you got the NPC City's and Player city's all this takes up Recources on your computer not to mention Ping wise, so JTL will or I hope will have 88-90% less Content to manage then on the Planets making it even accesible for the lowest Computer.

But either way thats what the Beta Tests are for I mean thier not going to pic all high Spec Computers as they wish to see how the game will copewith lower/slower computers and connections, so would start upgrading just yet, but the again its up to yuo, better to be safe then sorry.

Tigerdirect.com is cheaper then about 99% of the sites out there about 99% of the time.

My current build and yes I plan on rebuilding to PCI-express shortly.

p4 2.8 / 800 fsb

2gb pc3200 ram

ATI 9800xt

80gb 7200rpm/8mb cache HD

17' widescreen (1280x768) DVI-D LCD

SWG is awesome with this set up! I'm guessing JTL will be less demanding on you're system unless all the lighting effects end up klling you're system. I have had this set up for a lil bit and am very excited about building my new beast shortly.

Definetly! Don't forget Tigerdirect.ca for Canadian customers, like me! Tigerdirect has awesome deals, the cheapest prices anywhere, anytime (just like their slogan thing), anda small help center for understanding technolgies.

And for those just looking to get a completely new computer.

www.zuke.com, very cheap computers fully customizable, about $200-500 cheaper than alienware/dell (for a full system, most of the time)
