Maybe it's just your server, but we have huge PvP battles in spacehere on Bria.

And I was talking about PvP asa whole, including the ground. There are people that don't PvP on the ground but do in space, and vice versa.

I like arguing with you Massadonious. It quite fun.. haha

Seriously though, I hope they do change Kessel back to open PvP. I will probably go there if they do.

Huh?

Oh...umm....okay. Thanks, I guess.

I'm one of those people that enjoys PvP on the ground immensely, but not so much in space, which is why I even hinted at at the damage reduction. Even I think that is a bit rediculous.

I am mearly fighting for the rights of ALL PvP'ers. We want the devs to put it smart, and logical solutions to problems at hand. We want the devs to cater to us as much as they cater to the rest of you. We're apart of this community as well. We shouldn't be ignored.

We know there are other options when it comes to PvP'ing in space. We just think the complete removal of PvP from Kessel was a slap in the face and a insult, when they easily could of done much smarter and better things when it came to forced PvP and the master mission.

You guys have your playstyle, and I have mine. That's all.

I know that already. I only want to hear the answers from the ones that proclaim that these change took away all the pvp possibilities.

Heh..

I, and others areaware of the other options, miss sarcasm.

Kessel is at least a bit of eye candy, and plus it's part of SW lore. Ever hear of Deep Space in the movies?

Going overt is all well and good, and I admit, more people should be doing it, but why would people waste time finding a factionally alligned space station, go overt, and go search for PvP, when they can load into Kessel, and bam....insta PvP.

Again, move the master mission out of the zone, and you wont have to worry about us. We can have our playground, and you can go around and chase AI.

Both sides appeased. No more arguing and bickering.

Okay and here is a non sarcastic question:

As far as I know you jump to kesselat a faction alligned space station. Right?

Does that station not provide the "going overt" function? If the answer is no then it is bad.

If the answer is yes your argument with going overt is.......??

I hope the devs will find a solution for that problem soon as it would really help a lotto get thiswhole fight ended.

And I really hope for you that you will not end up in aKessel "instapvp-vacuum"where still no one is there.

I am not sure. I haven't been back to Kessel since they changed it.

I have a feeling that people will go back to Kessel to PvP once smart solutions are implimeted. It's fun inside there for us. No worries about the prestige points to go into deep space, and no worries about having to go overt and search for PvP, just a place for us to go and fight....kinda like the battlefields on the ground....when they were working.

LoL I was just saying it is nice to have a argument on a topic without getting into a star rating war.

Good luck to you PvP guys in getting your zone back but not until they move the master mission okay

I hope it will be changed back and eventually I will also be there.

You know that whole fight was not about pvp it was about that master mission in there...

Unfortunately it happened what happens a lot. Things escalated. And at the end the devs did what is called a "quick and dirty fix".

And that they needed to do this is the fault of the minority of PvP guys. And as always the small amount of black sheep are having

much more impact then the rest ot the "herd".

Lets hope theyare already working on a muchbetter solution.

That, or another logical solution is all we ask.

Personally, I think random load points or a load timer and a decent PvP damage reduction would be best, because it still adds the air of danger and challenge, yet will give the true griefers less motivation to stick around. I know I wouldn't want to chase someone around an entire zone and realize that it will takeme even longer to kill them than before. I'd rather go back to the ground and gank newbs.

I kid, I kid...

I have never griefed anyone in my life...and I was a Bounty Hunter.

Jepp that would make it a little better but there are still the "hardcore pve" people that don't want to do PvP at all.
And trust me the "true griefers" would still stick around as there is no higher challenge for them then to disturb you.
Well they may not be able to kill you instantly, but they would still be able to keep you away from doing your mission.

True...removing the mission completely is the best option, and I would more than welcome it, but I would like to see this option personally as I am nowhere near master, and would like this when I go up in my mission...if I ever get around to it.

BTW, I have been there, but only to help others do their missions as well. I didn't last long, but still had fun nonetheless.

I never did "real" pvp but we tried some duelling.
And it was really not funny what happened. I had a Tie Advanced with 2 level 7 blasters.
I used weapon overload 3 and eweapons and blew up a Y-wing with 2.4k shields and 2k Armor instantly.
Not tried this after the pvp reduction of todays patch but if the damage is reuced by 25% it still might be deadly in 1 shot.....
We will see if it gets better.

Ok why is it the majority of peeps bitchin are rebs......theres no pvp players really ect ect ok point taken on ground most do walk round covert,me included and Kessel not being pvp now is fair enough as online games usually bow down to the cheese and whine brigade (Rebs) Anyway my point here is now it has changed what about everyone who has done the Master Quest while it was still a pvp zone ....I had to fight off 3 rebs twice while doing my Vette,i know this is all experiences on different shards but come on now......cant have it both ways.End of the day it cheapens the experience of becoming Master in my opinion......at least i can have claim to not being a carebear Master.

Umm could you please explain what the point of your post is?
Trying to cause a flamewar cause "rebels" are whining?
Or start a flamewar in giving PvE guys names again?
Or usasking to /bow to you oh uber noncarebear master?
In all cases.... target missed.

Leave Kessel the way it is.

If PvP is th 'endgame' of JTL then so is mastering you respective pilot profession.

Master it, get your prestige points and go PvP in Deep Space, that is what its there for.
