i agree leave kessle as it is for now unless ther is an alternative solution to keep no pvp ers from getting ganked trying to do there master missions

just forget about the time line it nolonger exits her hasn't for some time. we're in a virtual star wars universe and it our time line not the movies. so its what we make of this universe ourselves. once this is realized then you'll start having fun

Okay genius, how the hell do you not know that the way the devs did this was a temp fix so they could code the master missions into another zone. This was a quick fix to stop the mindless ganking that was going on.

I would really appreciate if you pointed me to an official post saying so.

Give people a bit more time.

Due to the extreme way people play pvp on the ground most people don't want to experience this in space too so they won't even go to deep space or overt.

Also, due to the same reason (extreme pvp) people won't dare to go with a Tie Fighter or so to Deep Space, they will wait till they got the best ship with the best equipment since they already expect that they meet exactly that kind of player there.

Changing back Kessel to pvp will only solve your own problem at the cost of others (because you force them into pvp when they don't want it).

People either need to see that pvp in space isn't that extreme (or maybe it is, I can't tell yet) or give them some time till they advanced in skills. And don't forget, most people dislike pvp (due to this but also in general), some will ONLY pve as long as they play this game even and they shouldn't be forced into pvp.

Personally, I wouldn't get the idea to declare overt or to go to deep space with a Tie Fighter or Interceptor or so. Simply due to the fact that I expect the same extreme pvp players I met too often on the ground. If not, I'd be happy to engage different kind of ships which are player controlled. I also wore Stormtrooper armor on the ground but I only had to fight composite which was real boring. There weren't that many people who accepted a fight like me without having the best equipment or so.

So don't blame the system, blame the temploiters and other extreme players.

1 star? At least provide reasons then instead of hiding and voting anonymously. This is what a discussion is all about.

1) i have been killed in kessel more times then i have killed other players.

2) i never whined about it. it wasa risk to take when flying in kessel.

3) i have no clue where the rebels or neutral people enter kessel. i just fly around overt and get faction by killing off rebel ships...very nice faction too.

4) i dont exactly have the greatest PvP temp for the ground...just look at the stats.

5) if the ace mission is moved, that's awesome. but that is the main reason why people went there in the first place.

and finally

6) at first i wasnt into PvP, then i tried it once a long time ago and i got hooked. some of u will remember, when the holo craze first happened. yes, i was one of the "jerks" who went and stopped rebels from farming the imp base on naboo...it sucked for us imps because we never had as good of a spawn for holo's. i dare you people to try PvP, at least once they fix some of this crap that happens in it...like remove jedi..*cough*...or allow saber resistant armor...it was a blast when there wasnt all thesecombos that have been found (which by now, some of those have been fixed, like the dodge stack profs). you may yet find a new aspect of the game.

The VERY BEST of options would be to allow peole to chose their path to master.

Two paths.. master pilot.. .and ace pilot.. same skill mods same certs same everything, different titles. That way those who want the challenge and adventure of doing master in kessel ( and those who want to provide them said challenge and adventure in a system where loadins are uncampable and 25-50% damage redux is in place) may get it, and get a title appropriate to the dangers they faced, and the things the enjoy .. pvp .. ace being the more appropriate title for that.

Master Pilot would be done by grinding out the 7.5 mil (maybe make it 5 mil so its easier)xp, the PvE way.. the way they enjoy to play the game PvE. They would recieve the same rewards as ace pilot but get a title more appropriate to the way they enjoy playing the game.

PvE'rs are happy because they are no longer forced to pvp.. or even forced to get a massive group to kill the corvette.

People that pvp, or enjoy both pve and pvpare happy because they can get a challenge doing the master mission, get kessel back the way it should be, and can provide challenge to people doing their master mission in an experience that could almost be described as roleplay ifthey chose to make it such.

I missed the part where this was a single player game.

If others weren't hereforyouto be able to have yourPvEfun...

You would have to be your own doc, because there wouldn't be any docs to buff you.

You couldn't get Entertainer buffs....you couldn't heal your BF either.

You would have to take up TK Meditate, medic, or the afformentioned doc to be able to heal any wounds.

You would have to be your own armorsmith, weaponsmith, artisan, chef, etc, because there wouldn't be anyone to be able to craft for you.

Boy, I'm sure glad I have people around so I can have fun.

AsI stated before, reimpliment PvP back to Kessel so we can have our fun actually playing this game against others, and move the master mission to a different zone for people who want to have a different kind of "fun"

Easy.

There is a huge difference here you seem to be completely overlooking.

When the doc heals me, he gains experience in his profession as well as payment for his work.

When the armorsmith sells me my armor he gains wealth for his services, and experience in the crafting.

Etc.

Sure they are all supplying me with items and services I require to have my "fun", but in return they are rewarded with wealth and experience that contributes to thier "fun".

When I gather a group to do a mission in Kessel and we all get ganked as soon as we hyper in, the persons doing the ganking are having thier sick, demented form of "fun" entirely at my expense, with no compensation whatsoever.

BIG difference.

There is also a big difference between you just stated up there and what was for the most part happening in kessel. My guild delta is the most dominant imp guild on gorath and we never ganked people at zonein wed just kill anyone within our 4k cone of view. That is simple pvp not ganking everyone had a fair chance..... see my post above this for a better alternative for pvers to what we were doing.

It is "ganking" when they are not there for PVP.
